Hogle Zoo Fun!

My friend Katlin mentioned yesterday that she was going to take Rylan to the Zoo today. I was like what a great idea! So we all decided to go together. Blake had so much fun! Blake loves loves animals and liked running around with his buddy Rylan. I didnt realize that the Hogle Zoo really didnt have that many animals and the ones they did have were pretty much sleeping. HAHA oh well still a fun day out with friends.

I have been searching for a friend for Blake that he gets a long really well with. Blake is almost 2 so he is right at that age where he is possessive over his toys and isn't used to having friends. So its nice to have found cute Rylan

Wonderful Easter

Easter was so great this year. My brother and sister stayed the night so they could wake up in the morning and share the fun with Blake. My mom had me get them Easter baskets to so they could feel at home. We did our Easter thing in the morning and then went to Chances parents ward and house for the rest of the day. Blake got to ride the horses, play with the doggies and get spoiled rotten! I am so thankful for my Savior Jesus Christ and everything he has done for me. I feel so blessed and am grateful to be apart of his gospel and get to partake in the blessings of eternity.

This is what we got to wake up to. It was so fun getting to set everything up and be like my mom was when i was younger. I wanted it to just be perfect!
This year Blake got really excited about his Easter basket. It was so much fun. The first thing he did was take out his mickey cup with a straw. The he saw these eggs and knew there would be candy in them so he opened them all up!
He did this exact same thing with the grass last year. He pulls it all out and playsHe finally realized that his basket was a cool dump truck. Every year growing up, our baskets were never baskets. They were always something we could use like baseball bags, backpacks, beach bags ect. I definitely want to carry on this tradition. Last year Blakes Easter basket was a sand bucket and shovel. He loves this truck. He likes to take his toys for a ride
My brother and sister of course got spoiled. The fun part was they didnt even know they were getting anything for Easter! So Easter morning was so fun for them

Easter Party

Easter parties are so much fun! Well really any party i guess but Easter parties with an Easter egg hunt are my favorite! Chances family has an Easter party every year and this year was no different. We had a yummy BBQ with tons of amazing food and, fun time at the park, and to top it off a really fun egg hunt. Blake was so funny, he got really into this year.
Blake is such a boy. He ran past all the eggs only to pick up the spider man eggs! Once all those were gone he would only want the blue and green ones. What a funny boy.

The Big 25!

Thats right yesterday i turned 25. I cant believe that, it just seems so old. I remember being in young womens and my favorite leaders were 25, and now I am! I just cant believe it! 24 was a great age! Lots of fun, learning how to be a mommy, getting pregnant, learning how to be a mommy and a wife at the same time, I got to go to Texas and visit my sister, my brother got home from his mission, I started school again, and we moved into a new place. Lots of fun and lots of challenges! I think 25 is going to be the same. Since i am adding a child to my cute family, i will definitely have all the challenges and excite I could ask for.

My birthday was so much fun. I was busy all day long!


I got to start the morning with my number one fans! I love these two boys. They make me laugh so hard and they made sure i had a really good day. We got to go to Tucanos with some of Chances family which was super yummy. I am always a big fan!
Then we went practically next door to Provo Beach Resort. Blake has so much fun there. He pretty much spent the whole time on this dance game. He thought it was so much fun!
Blake loved getting to spend time with Nana. She let him play in the water and throw lots of money in. He thought it was pretty cool. I makes my day getting to see family and make sure Blake is having the time of his life

Next i was off on my own to get a much need pregnancy massage and pedicure! Oh my gosh i was in heaven. It felt sooooo good i didnt want to leave. Although, the lady that gave me my massage said that my neck and back are so bad she thought i had been in a car accident. I knew i had issues, but she kind of put it into perspective for me.
Then we dropped my little man off to nanas for the night and me, chance, and my brother and sister went to my favorite sandwich place ( Port of Subs) and then we were off to the Jazz game!! I love Jazz games. The crowd is so fun and this game was a really close one. I have not gotten to spend my birthday with my family in so long that it made my whole day!

All in all the day was great and filled with lots of love and family! I am one lucky girl to have my family in my life!

P.S. yea only one picture of me because i just noticed that i have gained weight in my face this pregnancy and am not feeling too great about it!

ITS A GIRL!!/ I am 20 weeks

We are so so so so excited to find out today that we are having a little baby girl. I have known from the beginning that we were having a girl. So has everyone else. Not once person guessed a boy. Even Blake! From the beginning when we asked him if he wanted a sister or brother he would shout out sister! I absolutely am so excited! We have a couple names going around (most of which Chance doesnt like) but i really feel her name is Sailer. She will be the cutest little girl i just know it!

Here she is! WE were so excited that the girl doing our ultrasound was able to do 4d pictures and video for us. They normally dont do it because the babies are too tiny, but our little girl was being so good they did it for us! I know it looks weird but she is so dang cute! I just love her so much already

There was one point during the ultrasound where she had her mouth wide open smiling at us and stuck her tongue out. She is very healthy. All her limbs and organs look great. Everything came back normal and no club feet!! YAY!! He heartbeat was perfect and she has all her fingers and toes! She is 14 oz... So almost 1 pound. She is getting so big! She is also almost 6 inches long from head to bum. She is practically perfect in every way. I just love love love her and cant wait to meet her.
So with Blake when we found out he was a boy we went shopping for his an outfit. So to carry on the tradition i got to shop today for a little girl. I was so excited that i got to shop on the girl side of every store. I have been waiting to do that! Suprisingly there is NOTHING for newborns. So i got these adorable leggings for $2 that she will wear home from the hospital This was on sale for $2 as well and i thought it was cute

My belly at 20 weeks! I am feeling actually pretty comfortable. I have a little bit of rib pain from my last pregnancy and a couple contractions a day but other than tha ti am doing soooo good. A lot of the time i even forget i am pregnant! I have gained 10 pounds, not too shabby, but hopefully i can start working out again and keep maintaining weight. I do have to say though i am a lot moodier this pregnancy. With Blake i was perfectly normal, With this one i have a serious attitude problem! HAHA At least i can admit it. I just wish i could control it. My blood pressure is great and my doctor says i am very healthy

Happy Anniversary

To me and Chance! Yep today we have been married for 3 years! Wow time has flown. In 3 years we have moved 3 times, had one baby, got pregnant with another, made tons of friends, fallen more in love, had a couple jobs, fought a lot, made up a lot, strengthened our testimonies, gone through hard times, gone through amazing times and just enjoyed being parents and being married. These past three years have really honestly been amazing. Chance and I have gone through so much and learned so many things about each other. I love love love Chance. Chance is such a great husband. In fact, quick story, we were with some friends the other night at a dinner buffet, both me and my friend are pregnant and she was telling me that she loves being pregnant because her husband will get up and get her more food and clean the house and do other things for her. I sat there and thought about it and in my mind i was like, whoa i do not have to be pregnant for Chance to do any of that for me. Chance is the type of husband that expects me to expect him to do all that stuff for me on a daily basis. I remember before i got married and in our first year, people would tell me that chance wont be like that for long, that they are all like that in the beginning. Well three years later i can safely say he is the same. I feel so blessed to have spent these past 3 years getting to know and love my best friend even more. Here is to eternity!!!!

For our anniversary my mom was so nice and flew down here to watch Blake while Chance and i spent some quality time in Salt Lake. So we picked my mom up from the airport and went straight to shopping (us Heims girls dont waste any time). WE had lots of fun shopping and i think she had lots of fun spoiling us! Blake took right to my mom. I was worried about leaving him with someone he didnt really know, but everything worked out great because he loves her. Then we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Then off Chance and I went to stay at the Little America hotel in Salt Lake. We checked in around 7 and looked all around. The pool was amazing )we forgot our swimsuits though) the room was pretty and we were tired. Yep instead of doing anything else we got into bed! HAHA! We forgot to go and get a bunch of snacks for the room so i was starving the whole time :( Chance of course offered to go to the store but i wanted to spend as much time with him as possible so i said no thank you. The next morning we woke up and went to the amazing breakfast buffet. It was $17 a person and so well worth it. They had everything you could even think of. My favorite were the homemade pastries! Next we decided to go shopping all day. Chance got a nice new pair of shoes he has been begging for and i got a couple of cute dresses. We ate a yummy lunch and then headed back home to spend some time with my mom. It was so nice to get away for a little bit and have some alone time!

Sad to say i forgot my camera all weekend so i have nothing to show! But today is our actual anniversary and we decided to spend the day with Blake. We took him to the park, the pool and to dinner. He is one tired little boy but we had the best day ever. Blake LOVES the water. STILL!!! Yep first swim of the year and he was all over that. He loved walking around all by himself, going down the slides by himself, crawling through the tunnels, playing basketball and getting dunked under the water.


I love my cute little family. I cant wait to add another little one.

This was by far his favorite slide. It was really high and big so i was nervous about him going by himself but he absolutely loved it. He kept saying again again.
After a while he just wanted to go off on his own in the deep part so we put this on him. He thought it was pretty awesome!

Wants to be so big

Things here have been a little crazy the past few weeks. Our 4 runner was in the shop for exactly 4 weeks. It was horrible. Reilly lives with us to and works in Draper so we had one car for the three of us. It was horrible. But almost $2000 later, we finally have our car back and in good working condition.

Blake has been really sick with a bad cold for the past 5 days but i think he is finally starting to get better. Now Chance and I are super sick :( Bummer........ Our anniversary is this weekend and i am hoping we will feel better by then. My mom is coming in to town to watch Blake for the weekend while Chance and i go to Salt Lake and celebrate!This little boy thinks he is so big. he goes into our closet and steals all of our shoes everyday! He loves wearing our hats and shoes. I have done a few posts about this because this has been his thing for a long time now. We love it. On a sadder note...... I think Blake is heading into his terrible twos. The past few days he has had non stop freak outs. Anytime we are in a store or anywhere he throws a huge tantrum and has now started hitting me. I can deal with the freak outs pretty well and keep calm and try to settle him down, but when he starts hitting me i dont do very well. I need ot figure out a way to better handle him hitting me without getting so mad. Hopefully this is just a phase though or i will be really sad.

Update on Chance:

Chance is doing so good in school right now! He has a really hard time with school but he is rocking it this semester! He is still loving working at Costco and hopefully he gets a full time position here soon.

Baby/pregnancy update:

My pregnancy has still just been great i have had a few minor problems like
1. The rib that Blake cracked while i was pregnant with him has been giving me a lot of pain. I am only 18 weeks so i cant imagine the pain when i get even bigger.
2. I am getitng really bad headaches but if i catch them in time tylenol will take them away.

Other than that things are so great. I feel so blessed this pregnancy. This baby is a crazy mover and i love it. Although it does make me have to pee a lot :) My tummy is getting bigger and i am starting to feel uncomfortable in my jeans and i am also gaining weight differently this time. I am gaining weight all over not just in my belly like last time :( Oh well it will be worth it. I cant wait to have another sweet baby.
