CHRISTMAS!!!

Christmas was so much fun!!! We woke up at like 6:30 when Blake woke up and we took him out to the family room to see what Santa brought him and he was pretty cute! At first he didnt know what was going on then when he saw his presents he got excited! He liked to unwrap them but that is about it! He was more excited about the wrapping paper and boxes than anything else! But he had so much fun so i dont care!!!Then we got ready and headed to Chances parents house where he got to open a lot more toys!!!! He loves all the toys! He has played with all of them but his favorite is the drums!! We got to eat a yummy breakfast and then play some games on the Wii!! The we headed off to see the movie Little Fockers!!!! HILARIOUS!!!! We really liked it! Then we ended up at Grandma Beckys house for dinner! It was a jam packed day but was so much fun! I love Christmas!!
We had a great Christmas!! Plus we got spoiled by Santa!!

Silly Silly Boy!!!

Blake has become so funny lately!!!! He seriously thinks he is funny! He will do something and then laugh at himself! It is seriously my favorite. He is becoming so interactive. I absolutely love this stage! I cant imagine it getting any better even though i know it will! Blake is a very happy baby! seriously my sister in law Kylie said to me yesterday that that she doesn't think Blake could even go 20 minutes without smiling! He is so dang cute! We love love love him!

Christmas Pictures!!!

First year for Christmas cards!!!! I was so excited! I didn't really want to send them out when it was just me and Chance, so now that i have my little man we got to!!! You will all hopefully be getting them shortly! My friend Nicole was so nice and offered to take our pictures! She has a super nice camera and they turned out really cute!!! I love this holiday season! It is my favorite time of year. I love all the lines, shopping, Christmas music, egg nog, family time, and presents!!! I love that we get a specific time to think of our savior and reflect on all the blessings we have received! I can wait to start teaching Blake all about Christmas!

Just random

So i was sitting here thinking i should update my blog. But i dont really have anything to update about so i am just going to log what we have been up to the past little bit. Sorry for all the rambling but there are some pictures at the end!

First off a little over a month ago Chance got laid off from his job working excavation. To be honest it was actually quite a blessing! We have been praying for quite sometime about what to do with chances schooling. He was only going to school part time and at that rate he wouldnt finish school for like 10 years!!! But we were way too nervous to just live off student loans. So we thought maybe Chance could just get a part time job and go to school full time. But Chance really needs to focus all his attention on school to succeed! I told him i could get a job while he is home with Blake during the day/night. But he said no no no way! Which i am kind of glad because i dont think i could leave Blake! Well after much prayer Chance got layed off and then we found out he needs a minimum of 1000 hours of paid medical experience to get into PA school! So right now Chance is finishing this semester as we try to find him something in the medical field that is hopefully part time! Other than that he is loving being a stay at home dad! He is getting to know all of Blakes cute habits and fun things he does. He is definitely a lot closer with Blake now that he stays home. He is very thankful for that!

I have to say i could really get used to having Chance home! It is so much easier! I get a lot more sleep, breakfast in bed, bottles made, bottles cleaned and help with the cleaning! But on the other side........... It is different not having my special time with Blake anymore! Besides all that i feel like my life is pretty good right now! I have an awesome family who i love spending time with! I sometime get a little teary eyed before i go to sleep because i miss them like crazy! It is so bitter sweet living away from home! But i do have Chances family here to make things a little bit better! We have been spending a lot of time with Chances little brother and sister lately and i have to say i love it! We have a lot of fun! On Friday Chances sister Kylie and I went with my young women to the soup kitchen in SLC! It was such a great experience! I am so glad i get to take her to do things like that that will impact her life! My calling in young womens is great! the girls are full of energy and on the ball with everything!

As for Blake he is just so adorable! He is just loving life right now! He can sit up without falling over, learning to crawl and eating lots of yummy food! He is getting so big! He loves anything you put in his mouth! He is a very determined little boy. The other day he sat for over an hour playing with his favorite football. He would roll it out just far enough to where he could barley reach it and then he would try everything he could to get it back to him! So cute! He loves everyone! he gets passed around wherever we go and he loves it! He loves peoples faces. Anytime someone gets close to him he grabs their face and studies it! So dang cute. He still cannot stand bottles! We tried a sippy cup the other day and he loved it but gets the formula everywhere! Blake is very smart i think because he is so observant! He can stare forever at something without even blinking! He loves to sit and play with his toys, bath time, sleeping, talking, and most of all he loves to be talked to!
I love that he sits in shopping carts now! It is so much easier than the car seat!

Thanksgiving!

Man i love the holidays!! I love all the family time, the wonderful music, the shopping, the long lines, the yummy food and all the love that is shown all around! This is by far my favorite time of year! I get so giddy and excited for this time of year!! Nothing is better than waking up to a handsome husband, smiley baby and looking outside to a blanket of snow!!! Man i feel like i could just fly! Thanksgiving is such a good time to look back and think of everything i am grateful for! This year we got to go to Reno for Thanksgiving! This year of all years i was super excited! My parents had not seen Blake since he was 1 month old! I have to say being away from my family when i have a baby is really really hard! But they just ate him right up! Every morning my dad came into our bedroom the second he heard Blake was awake and said, " Hey is Blake awake yet?" Or if Blake was awake my dad came in with big smiles and all sorts of ready to play with him! I loved it!!! My mom made sure to give him lots of cuddles every night! She always wanted to be near him to! She even changed every diaper she could! WAHOO!!! That was a nice break! Blake was so good all week! He seriously barley even cried! He was on his best behavior! Blake loves loves loves his SheShe and Crampa! There was even a time when he didnt even want me because he was with his Crampa!!! I was nervous that he would be a little hesitant because he doesnt know them but he just fell in love!!

I wanted to make sure that i wrote down some of the things i am grateful for because i feel like i have been so blessed this past year!!!

* I am so thankful for an amazing husband that has really shown me what it is like to be loved
* I have the cutest most adorable little baby that has brought the sweetest spirit into my home
* I am so thankful for my awesome family who cares and supports me and my family
* I am truly blessed to have the gospel in my life as i strive to return to my Heavenly Father
* I have great in laws who we love to spend time with
* I am so thankful for every trial i have been through this year because i know how important they were.
* And lastly i am so thankful for my Heavenly Father for blessing me in time of need, answering my prayers, opening my eyes to new things and ideas, the greatest family, my wonderful sisters and awesome brother who i miss like crazy, and for giving me the means to live my life to the fullest!!!

Just Too Fast!

Blake is getting so big just too fast! I get so excited when he starts to do new things but at the same time it makes me sad because he is becoming such a big boy! Blake is now officially a sitter! He rarely falls over! We are so excited for him! He feels like such a big boy to its so cute! As far as rolling over goes he knows how to and he will every once in a while but he just doesnt like to! What a bum! He also thinks that everything is funny! He thinks it is funny when you look at him, when you smile at him and everything! I love it because he is one of those babies that smiles at everyone. But its funny because he will stare at someone and not take his eyes off of him until they smile at him and then he gives a big smile and turns away. I got a new calling to be a Beehive advisor at church and the girls just eat him up!

I do have a really funny story for you! The other day i was watching The Proposal and Blake was sitting on my lap. Well it got to the part where Sandra Bullock is dancing in the woods with his grandma and all of the sudden Blake starts to laugh! HAHAHA! So i look down to see what he is laughing at and sure enough he was laughing at her dancing! HAHAHA! Then she starts dancing again and he starts to laugh again! O man i love that little boy! I thought that was so cute!

Hunting????!!!!!!

Yep thats what i said!!!! HUNTING!!!!! I am still in shock that i married someone who hunts! I am so not a fan of hunting but i support Chance in his desire to! We have come to an agreement that Chance can hunt as much as he wants but can only shoot what he will eat! So this weekend was the Pheasant hunt and Chance got super excited! He spent the whole day down at his parents hunting. He ended up shooting 2 pheasant! We are so proud of him and i have to say he was pretty proud of himself! He thinks that he is going to get me to eat it but i cant see eating something that i just saw almost alive! YIKES!!!! ITs different to go buy chicken or whatever from the store and eating it but when you see the animal all in one piece before its a different story for me! Maybe i will try it and maybe i wont but here are some pictures of Chance and his prizes!!!

Sitting Boy!

Blake has gotten so good at sitting! If i stick toys in front of him he will sit without falling for like 2-3 minutes! I love it! Towards the end though he starts to fuss because I think his stomach starts to hurt from bending! He has also gotten really into grabbing everything! I love love love this stage! He grabs anything in his sight! I love how interactive he is getting. He is so animated and fun! He can even raise one eyebrow! He also thinks that pretty much everything is funny! If I just look at him he smiles! Anyway here are some random pictures from the past week!

Halloween!!!!!! BOO!!!!

We had such a fun Halloween! And let me just say that Blake had a blast as well! We started off the day at our friends house for a Halloween party! Chance and I dressed up as babies and Blake was a cute little monkey! At their house we ate some yummy homemade soups and sandwiches! We had lots of fun and got to meet their whole family. Then I took Blake home for a nap while chance and his friend Jared went paint balling! After naps we got ready again and went to Chances family party! We had so much fun making candied apples, frosting cookies, trick or treating, yummy dinner and went through a fun haunted house! Blake was naughty in the beginning due to me forgetting to feed him (i know bad mommy) but he was super fun after i fed him! When we went trick or treating for the first time it started pouring rain! We were so sad! Blake just tried to eat the rain but once the wind started kicking up he was not a happy camper and we went home! Once the rain stopped we went trick or treating with some friends back by our house and we had so much fun! Blake was so cute! We went up to every door and when they brought the bowl up to Blakes face he would reach in and grab out his candy and drop it in his bucket! HAHAHA! It was so dang cute! One time he was holding his binki in his mouth playing with it and when he was showed the bowl of candy he dropped everything, stuck his hands in the bowl and grabbed his fair share of candy! HAHA! We had so much fun with him! We left our camera at the first house so i dont have many pictures but here are a couple from the night!
