My two kids...... So weird

I am so sad because my mom was here for 10 days and all the pictures we took were on her camera and i forgot to transfer them to my computer. So words will just have to do. Like i said, my mom was here for 10 days and it was amazing! It was so nice having someone to lean on and love my cute family. She spoiled us like crazy! Plus she cleaned the house everyday and bought us lots of yummy food :) there is nothing like having my mom here to take care of things for a little bit. She gave Blake all the attention in the world and made sure he was good and tired by the end of the night. We did lots of shopping (mainly my mom getting us the last minutes stuff we needed), we ate out a ton, She took Blake to see Madagascar(which he loved!) and didnt get any sleep at all. I also love having my mom here for the delivery. Its nice having her support there. Chance actually got really sad at one point because my mom wasnt going to be able to come for the delivery. He said things were not going to be the same and he really wanted her in the room. That made me feel so good that he has that type of connection with my mom. Thank you mom for spoiling us rotten and being here for me when i needed you. We had a blast!

It is quite an adjustment having two kids. Thankfully Bailee is a super low maintenance baby or else i would be going crazy right now. Having a two year old as well as a new born is quite tricky but soooooo much fun. There are a few pros and cons to having Blake be two right now:

Pros:
1.He doesnt have any jealousy issues or dislike towards the baby because i dont think he truly understands things yet.
2. He still thinks the world revolves around him even though Bailee is here
3. They are going to be super close in age

Cons:
1. Blake is quite fully self sufficiant yet. I still have to get him in and out of the car, get him all his food and many other things.
2.  Blake is not potty trained yet(2 in diapers is no fun)
3. He is going through the terrible twos right now so things can get really crazy

This was right as we were leaving the hospital. I thought those leggings were going to be way too small on her but of course they were too big! HAHA what a little shrimp.

I forgot how tiny they look in the car seat. She is so beautiful. I remember thinking i couldnt believe she was mine and i was officially a mommy of two!
Yea this picture is out of order but Blake got into the stickers he got and put every single one on himself and thought he was just the coolest thing ever! Oh i love him
I tried really hard to get some good pictures before we left to run errands and it just didnt work :( But they are still stinkin cute!
Blake is the best big brother in the world. In fact he is crying his eyes out in his room right now because Bailee cant sleep in his bed with him. He gets super excited when she wakes up and immediately asks to hold her. He calls her, "pretty girl" and "princess" He gives her sooo many kisses every day and tells her how much he loves her. He also knows the song "twinkle twinkle little star" and he sings it to her all the time. He gets really mad when he thinks Bailee is not coming with us somewhere and makes sure we know she IS coming with us. He introduces her to everyone and tells them all about her.I love this little boy and could not ask for a better big brother for Bailee.
Oh how this little one has changed our lives. She is such a good baby! Before yesterday she was sleeping for 4-5 hours day and night. She only ever cries when she is super super hungry(sometimes i wait to feed her because i think she has the cutest cry in the world and i want to hear it). That is seriously the only time she cries.
She has started being awake a little more the past tow days. She will be awake for like an hour at a time. When she is she is so alert and just looks and absorbs everything. She likes to be on her play mat and loves to be talked to. She also LOVES her binky but doesnt need it unless she wants to go to sleep
She always has her hands in her face. Luckily she hasnt scratched her face to bad. She is a champion eater. My goodness she sucks really hard :) She has taken so well to nursing i am so proud of her. I was a little worried because we had to supplement with bottles a few times, so i was hoping she would still want to nurse and it turns out it didnt phase her at all. I love her

Yea most of these pictures are with her binky because she was so tried and wanted to go to sleep.
I laid Bailee in BLake bed tonight with him while we got him ready for bed. Blake was in heaven. He seriously thought it was the best thing ever
This is the face he makes when he cuddles up to Bailee. I did not pose these pictures. He did this on his own and i love it!
Oh this picture melts my heart. He does this all day long and i cherish every moment because i know it wont last long. Thankfully Bailee is a pretty relaxed kid because Blake pretty much smothers her

Life is so great right now and also so challenging at the same time! I cant wait to see what the future holds :)

Bailee Leren Wride

Bailee finally made her appearance on July 16, 2012 at 1:25 PM! She was 6lbs 12 oz and 17 inches long. Just a small little peanut. The anticipation was was killing me! I was being induced so they called me Sunday night and told me that i could expect to be called no earlier than 7AM and to call if i had not heard from them by 11. I was like well that is a huge gap i am going to go crazy! So we decided to be ready by 8 and get some shopping done and wait for the call. Well they actually ended up calling at 8 and said to be there by 9! Oh my gosh i was so excited. I started getting a little scared thinking about the epidural but excitement over shadowed that and we left right away! I got there and they took me right back. I had the most amazing nurses. I feel so blessed. I told my nurse that i wanted to get the epidural ASAP because i knew once they started me i was going to go super fast. So she went around the hospital trying to find the anesthesiologist along with 4 other nurses trying to get their patients an epidural. She ended up calling his cell phone and getting him to my room first thank goodness because once they started me i dialated to a 5 right away and 3 hours and 4 pushes later Bailee was out. This was such an easy delivery. I was making jokes in between pushes. I didnt even sweat! I am not sure why i got so lucky but i am so thankful. My epidural was so amazing. The anesthesiologist was so amazing i honestly didnt even feel the needle go in. I was also able to get up and walk to the bathroom after with a little assistance. It was perfect! I love getting the epidural because i get to enjoy my baby coming out and really get into everything.

My entire stay at the hospital was so great. Every single nurse was amazing and fun! They all loved Bailee and made such a big deal about her every time they came in the room.

Now for Blake. I was nervous to know what Blake would think of Bailee and how he would react. It turns out he is amazing. When he saw her for the first time he said, "awww i hold you?" It was the sweetest thing ever. On a side note, Blake was in the room until i started dialating fast and he could tell i was in some pain. He came up to the side of my bed and said, "mommy blessing, a prayer?" and then he folded his arms. Oh my gosh my heart melted. What a sweet sweet boy. He has been completely amazing. He loved her so much. He always wants to hold her, lay next to her, feed her, give her her binky and kiss her. My mom is in town(next post) and has been taking him out and he asks if baby sister can go with him. He has also been completely normal with us. He has transitioned really well i feel so blessed.

I thought at the last second to pack Blake his backpack full of stuff to play with and eat! He thought it was so cool. he wheeled it around everywhere and even wore it on his back like a backpack. Little did he know during that picture that his whole life was about to change.

I didnt mind Blake being in the room until i started dilating and then he was taken out. He was occupied for a little bit by a movie but other than that he was really good just roaming around and playing musical chairs and making everyone get out of their seats. I have to note that while i was dealing with some pain Blake came over to me and said, "mommy, blessing? A prayer?" and then he folded his arms. Oh my gosh my heart melted. What a sweet sweet boy.
Last picture of a family of 3! Boy am i glad i am not as swollen anymore!
 There she is! Finally!
 Exact same weight as Blake.
My nurses were sooooo amazing! I loved every single one of them. Another amazing experience at American Fork hospital. My doctor is also amazing. He is seriously such a great doctor. He makes things so easy and really gets into it. When i was holding her he even came up to her and wanted to see her and talk to her. It was really cute!
My sweet girl i waited so long for.
 Look at those big lips!
Proud daddy! He was in heaven the second he held her. His life is never going to be the same.
Blake thought it was so cool to hold her. He kept kissing her and saying awwwwww. He truly loves her
First family picture as a family of 4! I cant believe i have 2 kids. That is so unreal!
She has been very alert since she came out. When she is awake she likes to be up looking around.
Proud Sheshe with her 4 grandchild. We were so thankful she was there to help out. Although i do have to say that this labor was so easy i didnt need much help but it was still comforting to have her there.
Nana admiring her sweet new grand daughter
Blake seriously still does not stop asking to hold her. Look at my cute family. Those three joys in my life are worth every minute.
 Aunt Kylie looking cute
She came out with her hand in her mouth and she still loves her hand in her mouth. She has a very strong suck and new how to eat right away
 Getting measured and bathed
Oh sweet little one after her bath. I love when they bring her back smelling all good and feeling so soft.

Chances brother had their baby, Asher michael, 4 days before we had Bailee. Nan was in grandma heaven
Look at those cute fat rolls on her legs. haha!
My brother and Bailee. She looks so tiny in his arms
 Hello!
Me and my 2 kids! HA! So crazy!
I was having a hard time nursing for a few days so we had to supplement with formula a couple times and Blake thought it was so fun feeding her.
Oh how precious! I love this picture.

4th of July day of fun!

This fourth of July was so much fun! Blake is old enough to really get into what is going on and got really excited about it! We had a crazy busy day full of lots of fun! We saw the hot air balloons in the early morning, went to the parade after that, then the fireworks at night. Blake was a trooper the whole day! I, on the other hand, was not. I was more swollen than i have even been! But I dealt with it because Blake was having so much fun.
We got the the hot air balloons at 6:00am! Yep this little guy got woken up at 5:45am and was amazing all day! We were sitting right next to one of the balloons and when they started filling it up he got a little worried! Can you tell by his face?? We pack some dry cereal, grapes and milk for him!
HAHAHA can you tell they just woke up?
This was like half of the balloons
Loved this balloon it looked really cool in the air to!
My favorite flag! What an amazing way to represent America. I loved how the race started off with the pledge of allegiance. I got a little teary eyed
The balloons started getting filled and going up and this was his face for a good while. HAHA! He really loved when the fire would shoot up he would try to blow it out
I thought my mom would appreciate this balloon!
There we go now they look more awake! Those are two really handsome boys!
Oh yikes. Yep the only picture that will be posted of me and only because it is a little far away. Chances parents met us at the end and treated us to breakfast at Mcdonalds!
We finally got to the parade and of course Blake went straight to papa. I know he doesnt looked too thrilled in this picture but he was super excited
Yea my sister Macy took this picture. I guess Blake wouldnt look.
Look at these two cuties! This is Marelle(Ella as Blake calls her). They are cousins and are 6 weeks apart. I am not sure they have really learned to play with each other yet, but they both talk about each other all the time
The first fire truck almost made Blake poo his pants. He was standing in front by himself and it honked really loud and Blake came running back with the most concerned look on his face. Macy and her roommate joined all of us for the parade! Blake has finally taken a loving for Macy. Not sure why it took so long but better late than never :)
Such a cool float. all the heads moved and sang
The Madagascar float! Blake loved that one!!
ummmmmmm hahhahahaha this one is also for my mom!
My sister in law Jessicas mom painted all the kids faces. Blake wouldnt let her so she painted his hand. She is so nice and Blake loved it

This one is for my niece Brooklyn! The Rapunzel float!
Of course cosmo had to make an appearance
This is the coolest float! " Stand a little Taller"
This was the float that won the whole parade!
The missionaries make an appearance every year! Our favorite part of the parade!

After the parade we went home and took a nice long nap. We were exhausted. When we woke up my brother Reilly came over and we went shopping for some yummy treats for the night time and then we came back and watched a movie. Finally the time came and we got to got see the fireworks! Macy came along to. Every year we go to Fox field park and watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks. They started like an hour late so not till 10:30! I cant believe how amazing Blake was the whole day. He loved the fireworks. He thought they were so cool and pretty. But i think he liked the yummy treats he got to eat all night better!
