First Time Fishing

Chances mom asked me the other day if she could take Blake up to Fish lake to go fishing. Of course i said yes! I was a little hesitant this morning as i was getting him ready. Of course i trust Nan and Cory(chances parents) but being a mom i couldnt help but worry because i wouldnt be there. That is really scary sending your little one off in a boat on a rainy day without you. But i sucked it up because i knew he would have so much fun! And he sure did.
My cute boy at 5:30AM!!! I woke him up and he sat straight up and said good morning mom!!! Im awake!! hahah i guess time doesnt phase him. He thought it was pretty cool that he got to wear his fishing boots :)
Of course he has to have cars wherever he goes.
He said he had so much fun catching fish! Nan said that he kept saying he wanted the boat to go faster. What a cute little boy. I thought he may have been a little afraid but nope! He thought it was so cool

Papa is pretty much his favorite person.
Before they went fishing they took him to breakfast. He ordered his whole meal by himself. He told the waitress he wanted pancakes bacon and orange juice. What a cute boy. He ate three pieces of bacon and this huge pancake! There were lots of huge stuffed fish on the walls and Blake thought they were sharks haha i love him
Blake and his nana. She took such good care of him and made sure he was safe. He loves her so much. When i picked him up he kept saying he wanted to stay with nana. I told him no we have to go home and he told me that nana is going to come with him to our house. Its so great that he loves her so much
Looking out at the beautiful water searching for fishies
Cute sweet boy. He also got to drive the boat. That is one spoiled boy when he is with nana and papa

Blake caught 3 fish! He even got to reel them in. But when the fish got in the boat they were squirming everywhere and he cried a little bit. HAHA he wasnt a fan of that
When he got in the car he told me that the fish were in the water and then he caught them by the mouth and pulled them in the boat. Such a smart and observant little boy.
He did not want to touch the dead fish at all. So papa told him that if he touched the fish he would get a treat. So he poked the fish and nana told him he would get double treats of he touched it again. So he poked it again and backed away. HAHA! This was his yummy treat for the ride home!
After a long day of fishing on a boat there is nothing like some Mac N cheese, oranges and teddy grahams to top it off!

When i walked in the door Blake went immediately to Bailee. He gave her lots of kisses saying hi pretty girl and i love you. He missed her so much. That is just so adorable

I had to put a couple of miss Bailee! I dont know if i have mentioned the fact that she loves baths more than anything! She coos and smiles like crazy in the bath i love it.

How sweet is that cute face?? This poor little girl and been throwing up and having diarrhea for 2 day. I took her in today and they are thinking it is a type of flu, but to be safe she had to get blood work done and a catheter put in for a urine test to make sure there is no bladder infection. No matter what this girl is so happy. I love her to pieces. This is the face she gave me right after throwing up. Good good girl i love her.

Fun day for a waterfall

Yesterday Chances mom and I decided we would take the kids up Provo Canyon and find a park and eat lunch! During the fall all the canyons here are the most beautiful thing i have ever seen! The colors are just changing so i think maybe next week or maybe two weeks it will be even prettier. We packed lunches and headed up! We decided to stop at Bridal Veil Falls and eat and show Blake the really pretty waterfalls. I have never been there so it was a nice treat for me to! Man they are so gorgeous! There are some hikes you could do up there, i need to try it someday.
Kylie got to come with us to! We love having here there with us. She loves my kids so much.
Blake has been really really really into sticks. Everywhere we go he finds a stick. We were sitting there eating lunch and he kept asking me if he could get down and go find a stick. I would tell him no you need to eat, so he would take one bite and ask again! HAHA!!!

We got to sit on this bridge and dip our feet in the water. Holy cow the water was so freezing! Reminded me a lot of Lake Tahoes water. Blake thought it was so funny to put his feet in the water
Blake loves his Nana. He begs me all the time to go to Nanas house.
Nana was so nice, Blake really wanted to go explore so she carried him over the rocks and walked through the freezing water to go exploring with him
Yea freezing water!!! But he would get down and walk for a few seconds and then want to be picked up again
Blake is also very big into exploring these days. He always asks to go on a walk (when my mom was here she took the kids on lots of walks now he loves them!) On our walks he explores through all the rocks, trees and anything else he can find. Even when we are at the park now, he rarely plays at the play ground, now he just walks around and explores. Its pretty cute
Nana helping Blake find really cool rocks
And of course what is better then finding cool rocks and throwing them in the water!!! Blake was on cloud nine. Blake is not the biggest fan of sitting at home relaxing. He loves to be outside and having fun. Every morning he asks me if we can go shopping or to the doctor. HAHA! He will run errands adn shop with me for hours and never complains. He loves it
BEAUTIFUL!! This picture of course does no do it justice but still looks pretty
He was barefoot and walking all across the rocks. What a tough boy!

ABC's

I have been singing the ABC's to Blake the past couple days and now he knows how to sing it for the most part!!! I am so proud of him. He learns so fast and he has the cutest little voice. Also he knows how to count to 11. Also something i think is awesome! I finally got around to getting a video of him doing those things!
So he definitely needs help but he has a lot of it down!
I was working on him counting to 3 and then all of the sudden he could count to 11. I think it was an episode of mickey mouse club house!

No more nursing

This post is definitely bitter sweet. Actually more bitter than sweet. I am very sad to say that nursing is pretty much officially over :( About 2 weeks ago my milk supply was going down. So i started pumping and drinking water like crazy. Well it turns out that i was sick and that is why my milk supply went down. As i started feeling better my milk supply came back in and i was so happy. Up until now, i have really been on the fence about whether or not i wanted to keep nursing or just go to formula. But then i had to start supplementing some meals with formula and i immediately started pumping even more so i didnt have to go to formula. It is so yucky, stinky, and stains everything! I was so happy when my milk came back and now all of the sudden it is pretty much all gone. I dont really understand what is going on but it makes me sad :( Plus what makes it even worse is that Bailee cant stand formula. She gags and gives me a dirty look every time i feed it to her. I am really going to try so hard but i just dont think my body is made to produce milk or something. If anyone has any advice or knows how to produce more milk PLEASE tell me!!!!

Cuddle time

As i have said time and time again, Blake loves Bailee.  I have been trying to capture all the different cuddle times they have together! I get so much anxiety when I lay Bailee on her play mat and Blake wants to play with her. He is so rough. But today he said, "mom, i just want to lay with her, she my Bailee!" that put me at ease.
This is quite frequent. He lays on her. I think it is really funny how kids dont understand thats they cant walk, lay or stand on people.

If Bailee has a blanket, Blake thinks he has  o go get all his blankets and share them with her. I love it!
Boh my boy are obsessed with her! She is one lucky girl
I love that he just cant even help but to be next to her at all times. Itsd like he loves her so much he just wants to squeeze her, which he often does :)

Bailee is 2 months!

Bailee went in for her 2 month well check today. Everything looks great! No more ear infections or bladder infections so we are very happy about that! So far she has had 1 ear infection and 2 bladder infections! We are hoping to steer clear from the doctor until her 4 month check up :) She had quite a rough start to life but no matter what she went through she stayed so sweet and good. Th poor little girl had an ear infection and bladder infection and never even cried. We took her in for her acid reflux and thats when they found out about the infections.
I cant believe Bailee is already 2 months old!
Weight: 9lbs 7oz (54th percentile)
Height: 20 inches (10th percentile)
Head: 58th percentile
I love her stretches, she always sticks her tongue out.
Bailee LOVES bath time. Just like her brother. She immediately calms down when she gets in the bath. She likes when i pour water down her face to!
Look at those cute chubby cheeks. Everyone is starting to say she looks just like me. I am one happy mommy!
Oh i love her smile. She has started smiling and cooing like crazy. She is definitely one of the smiliest babies. She smiles the second you start talking to her. She smiles a lot at Blake to. She will coo whenever you talk to her. It is so adorable! I love that i can start playing with her and she responds. Blake thinks it is so cool when she smiles at him

Oh yikes! But i had to put this picture in! HAHAHA!
Yep Bailee loves to sleep in her burrito! I dont know what it is about my kids and being wrapped like this but they love it. She also sleeps on a boppie because of the acid reflux.
Bailee is pretty much sleeping through the night. If i put her down at 11 she will wake up around 5:30 or 6 then eat and go back to sleep till about 8:30. It is so nice to get some sleep.
Bailee is such an easy going baby. She has made the transition from one kid to two pretty easy. She rarely cries and if she does it means she is hungry, sleepy or poopy. She doesnt cry just to cry. She loves attention though. If we leave the room she is ok for a little bit and then she will fuss till we come back in.
Look how smiley! She is eating really good! I really did not like breast feeding because i thought it was inconvenient, but i have been sick the past couple days and my milk supply went down and i forgot how nasty formula was and how it smells and stains! I am so glad she breast feeds :)
Bailee is such a sweet little girl. I think she will definitely be the peacemaker in the family
She has lots of rolls on her legs, but they are closer to her diaper so you cant see them. But they are my favorite
Who could not fall in love with that cute face??
 Me and my favorite girl
Me and my favorite little boy. I just have to add that he is the best big brother. Since we have been doing some bottles he is loving feeding her and burping her.

Funny boy :)

I wanted to take a break from my sweet Bailee girl and dedicate this whole post to Blake! First of HE IS HUGE!!!!!! Since i had Bailee i feel like Blake has grown like crazy (probably just because Bailee is so tiny). He has also gotten so smart it freaks me out! I just love him so much.
This is the routine every night. Blake has to have Bailee lay with him while we say prayer, sing songs and say good night. He loves Bailee so much he doesnt even know what to do with himself. He wakes up in the morning and immediately says where is my Bailee girl? and then finds her and gives her kisses. All throughout the day Blake is pretty much all over her. He loves to hold her, give her her binky, lay with her on her play mat, share all of his toys with her and tries to give her all his food. Ha! I love all of this more than anything and it melts my heart, although, a lot of the time it is too much.Bless his heart, He just wants to be with her every second, but he makes her mad a lot, wakes her up a lot and sometimes is a little too rough.
Blakers is pretty much fully potty trained!!!!! I am in heaven! He has been the best potty trainer. He was so ready for it. He has had a few accidents, but only little ones. He starts to pee and then realizes it and goes the rest on the potty. He goes in every store and even outside(when i cant get to a bathroom quick enough). He pretty much tells me he has to go to the bathroom every time, but i am not that trusting yet to not ask him. He also goes Poo on the potty!!!!!! I heard this was the worst part! I can tell he is a little afraid, but he still does it. I didnt have to change a poopy Blake diaper today at all!!!! Nights are different. He is still wearing a diaper during naps and nights but i am sure we will get there soon enough. He woke up with a dry diaper today so who knows!
Blake is too smart for his own good. He knows the colors Blue, green and orange. He does get blue and green confused sometimes though. The other day he counted to 11!!! I have no idea where he got that from but i am sure it was Mickey! Blake knows about 10 whole songs now. He picks them up really really fast. He speaks full sentences. There is nothing he cant say. He will tell me all about things that happened days ago.Even months ago!
Look at that sweet face :) Blake is starting to branch out on the things he eats as well. Granted, he is still so picky, but now he will at least try a lot more. This little boy loves treats more than anything. In fact, he woke up from his nap today saying can i have juice and a treat? I think that is why potty training has been so great. We were giving him treats when he would tell us and when he would go. He will do anything for a treat! His favorite foods right now are chicken nuggets, fries, oranges, yogurt, peanut butter and pretzels and rice!
This little cute boy can also be very very naughty. He has a hard time listening the first time. But will the second time. he throws lots of fits and screams at us. He is also very into throwing things right now. Not cool. He says naughty words like: stupid, stop, mine and NOOOOOOOOO! He always says them with a smirk on his face and then begs me not to put him in time out. He is very mischievous. When he knows he is not supposed to do something he will get a smile on his face and show me that he is going to do it. Oh so naughty!  If he says a naughty word and i ignore it, it will keep saying it until i respond! He sure does give me a run for my money!
Crazy picture but i think it is so cute. I love my two kids!
Oh Blake is just like his daddy! He likes to fix everything! He will use anything as his tool ti fix things. Today he was using my sunglasses to fix this robot. He uses keys to screw things in and any stick or long pointy thing he can find that he thinks will help. He is on cloud nine when Chance gets down his tools to fix things. He is right behind him wanting to help and watch every step of the way. Yesterday he pulled one of my dresses of the hanger and then thought he could tie the strap to another piece of clothing and it would be all better! HAHA So smart
Today when he was supposed to be napping, i guess he wanted to put shorts on and this is how they turned out! HAHA when he woke up he thought it was pretty funny

Blake is quickly growing out of all his clothes and shoes. He is getting just too big. He tells me he loves me all day long and come up and gives me kisses without me asking. Best part of my day :)
