Swimming???

Yes we went swimming! I just started going to a play group with a couple of girls in my ward and we decided to go to an indoor swimming pool today! I was so excited to take Blake. He loves the water and i was hoping he would love swimming! It turns out he loves it! Right when i put him in he got a big smile on his face! He started splashing like crazy and having so much fun! In fact one time he was sitting all by himself and then fell over and his whole body and head went under so i scooped him up real quick and he coughed a little bit and then when right back to playing! It didnt even phase him! What a cute boy!. We will have to go more often.

He had so much fun that on the 10 minutes car ride home he was out!
Blake still demands to be wrapped in a burrito when he goes to sleep but he was so tired from all the fun he didnt even care.

This is random but Blake started clapping and giving high fives so i had to get a video! He thinks he is so big when he does it.

My Brother

I have to say, right now i am really really really missing my brother. He is on a mission for our church in Argentina! I miss talking to him every single day. I miss him staying the night at my house 3 or 4 times a week. I miss how much fun him and chance had and them becoming really good friends. I miss helping him prepare for his mission. I miss all the crazy stories he had about his roommates. I really miss him always asking me for advice and allowing me to help him through his problems. Odd enough i miss him coming to my house and eating all our food!! HAHAHA! I miss all his compliments on the food i cooked for him. I miss how excited he gets when Mcdonalds has McRibs!!! I ma tempted to send one to Argentina!!! I miss surprising him with bags full of groceries or filling his car up with gas. I miss seeing him at church dressed all nice strengthening his testimony. I really miss his humor! Me Reilly and Macy have the same sense of humor and laugh together at anything! Even now he always emails me and asks for stories about the funny crazy things that Chance does just so he can laugh.

I miss him a lot. I am so thankful he is on his mission doing the Lords work. He has grown so much and i am so proud of him. He has been so diligent and determined to share the gospel. He is learning so much from each and every person he meets. When Reilly first moved to Utah he decided to change and become a better person. He has definitely succeeded. He has become an amazing child of God. I love being able to pray for Reilly every night and know that heavenly Father is watching over him. He has about 11 months before he comes home and i cant wait. I cant wait for him to come to me telling me all his stories. I cant wait to see how much he has changed.

If you cant tell by now i love my brother so much. I just felt that i needed to document the way i am feeling right now and how much i miss him.

Bath time/Peek a Boo!!!

Blake loves Peek a Boo!!!! You can tell after everytime he pulls the blanket off he wants you to do it again and then at the end he starts to cry because i stop doing it! Funny boy!

I wanted to take this video just for my journal purposes! He is finally able to sit all by himself in the bath! He also hoards his toys! He wants all of them in a pile in front of him! Its pretty cute!

BLAKE IS CRAWLING!!!!!!

We are so excited!!!!! Blake finally started army crawling today!! He has had the technique down for quite a while but couldnt move and then finally today he crawled! We are so excited! He is 7 1/2 months and is crawling! WAHOOO!!!!! Here is a video! It has even gotten faster in the past like 10 minutes! What a good boy!

Just a little update

I just wanted to update for journal purposes, what we are doing at the moment. I am constantly blogging about what Blake is doing because he is growing so fast and doing so many things, so i thought i would take a break and update about what Chance and I are up to!

Chance has started yet another semester working towards his bachelors degree. He is taking 5 classes so it is a pretty booked schedule!!! He is taking a break from working for a while so he can focus on getting good grades! We finally came to the conclusion that getting his education behind him is the most important thing right now so we will make sacrifices to get there! He is taking a ballroom dancing class and i am so excited about that!!! On Saturdays they have practices that are optional and they teacher said you can bring someone!!! So i will get to go and . dance with Chance and learn a few things myself!!! I am super excited!!! Chance struggles in math a little and his teacher this semester is amazing!!! She teaches it just the way Chance needs to learn it! We are so thankful!Other than school, Chance is just loving being a daddy! And he also loves to run in my face that Blake can say Dadadadadadad! He is pretty proud of that!

As for me.......... I am still just being a stay at home mom! This is the best job ever! I love getting to see what Blake does everyday! I also get to do projects and catch up and things i have wanted to do for a while! I am also getting to be in young womens for my church as a Beehive advisor! Its been fun and challenging! Its really hard to relate to 12 and 13 year olds! But it is getting better and i am feeling better about my calling. I love being a mommy!!!! Seriously i want to have a ton more babies but i dont ever want to be pregnant again so that presents a problem!!

And of course i have to say a little about Blake. He says Dadadaadadadadad all day long, he now has his feet crossed all the time which i think is so cute, He is trying to crawl so hard but just gets too frustrated and henow weighs 18.5 pounds!!! Big boy!!!

Christmas in Reno

Me Chance and Blake got to go to Reno for 10 days the day after Christmas!!! My sister Lindsay and her husband and kids were there and we had not seen them forever so we decided to go down for a visit before Chance had to go back to school! We had a blast! We shopped A TON!!!!!! Every single day we were out shopping! I didnt get a whole lot but we love to shop so it was so fun! Chance and Blake would stay home with Wade and the other kids while we went out and shopped! I forgot how nice it is to just be able to run into a store real quick without having a carseat to get in and out! We ate at alot of yummy places saw a couple movies made lots of yummy treats and got to ring in the new year!! I also got to go to eat with 2 of my friends from highschool! I had not seen them in a couple years so it was really nice to catch up.

It was so fun to see my mom and dad with Blake. They loved him so much. Blake was infatuated with my dad. If Blake was crying all my dad had to do was talk to him and he would start smiling it was pretty cute. Blake also loved cuddling with my mom. I think they have a special bond.

Blake had so much fun with his cousins! Seriously he was loving having Brooklyn and Weston around. Weston absolutely loved Blake! O my goodness he wanted him all day long. He loved to give him kisses and hugs and play with his toys with him. O my goodness it was so cute! Weston even learned to say Blakes name. Brooklyn loved him to. She would always tell me, "Winter Blake is too cute, Blake is getting so big, Blake has a really cute face!!" It was cute. She would also try to hold his hand and sing to him if he was crying. I loved seeing them! It has been so long and they have grown up so much. Brooklyn is so mature and such a little girl i love it. Weston is definitely a chunnie boy. They call him chunnie and it is the perfect name for him. He was so lovable to me and was so fun and crazy!
Chance and i also got to go on a double date. My mom and dad got to babysit the grand kids while we went to dinner at Claim Jumper, grocery shopping, and to a frozen yogurt place called U swirl. We have a blast!!!! We have never been able to go on a double with my sister before so it was really nice. To me it felt like we were back in the day having fun. I loved it i wish it could happen more often.

Last thing. Blake decided to start teething really really bad when we got down there. No teeth yet but they will come anytime! He had 2 bad days and the rest of the time he was really good but we had to give a lot of tylenol. He also did not sleep very well at all. He woke up multiple times in the night and it took like 30 minutes to get him back to sleep. It is so sad. His gums are a little swollen right now so hopefully it/they will break through soon.
