**Wride Family**: Blake Morgen Wride

HE IS FINALLY HERE!!!!!!!!!! 6 pounds 13 ounces and 18 inches long!!! What a small little guy! O my goodness i thought the wait was never going to be over! My labor went really really well. I got induced on May 27th and it was quite the wait! They told me i was going to be able to come in between 8 and 12. So of course i was getting way too anxious and so i called around 11 and asked what the progress was and when i would be called in! They told me it would be a couple more hours!!!!! I was like are you kidding me???!!!! I am waiting to have a baby here!!!!!!!! Anyway they finally called around 1 and i was in my room with IV's by 2. They started the real induction at 3:30 and the next thing i know i am being told to push!!! My labor was 4 hours and 15 minutes and i pushed Blake out in 40 minutes!!!! Yea super quick everyone was really surprised including my doctor! Got my epidural and the next thing i know i am kissing my little buddy! It was such an amazing experience! In fact i am getting all chocked up right now! I think i really made the right choice to get an epidural. I was actually able to enjoy the process and be excited to meet my little buddy!

He is now almost a week old and he is doing great! He has some Jaundice and has to be under the billy lamp for 2 days and it is pretty heart breaking! But we are getting through it. Before we found out about the Jaundice he was sleeping all the time and wouldnt eat ever! It was getting really frustrating and i was getting so worried! The doctor told at this point it is vital that he eats so we have been doing bottles and amazingly it works!!! When they tested him yesterday his levels were at 19 which is borderline of having to go to the hosptal so we fixed the feeding and got him under the billy light and went and tested him today and his levels dropped to 13!!!!! GREAT NEWS!! So one more night of lights and we are good to go!!! Blake has his first doctors appointment tomorrow and we are excited! We have a great doctor for my little man! He is so wonderful! i will blog about that later.

Mt labor went REALLY REALLY REALLY well. I was in labor for all of 4 hours and 15 minutes and i pushed Blake out in 40 minutes. It was so quick! Everyone told me and i was prepared to have a 12-14 hour labor. Since i got induced and it was my first baby that was typical. Well i sure showed everyone! The worst part i think was when the doctor broke my water! It was so painful! I kept yelling OUCH!!! and pushing and kicking the doctor away! Wow! The epidural freaked me out but i got through it thanks to my wonderful husband coaching me through it and holding my hands. Pushing wasnt too bad. I dont think i could do it for hours but 40 minutes wasnt too bad. I just remember thinking right when he came out that i couldnt believe i actually pushed out a baby and he was mine to keep. I instantly fell in love and kept asking them to give me my baby back! I have a great picture that shows the emotions that chance and i had exactly.

So far Blakes cute traits and things he is into:
1. His hands! He loves to try and put both fists in his mouth at the same time and crys if you try to stop him!
2. SLEEP! I have a master sleeper! He would sleep through the night if i would let him
3. Blake loves to have his face close to yours. Anytime he is upset you just have to put him up to your face and he will calm down. I just love this!
4. Loves loves loves his binki! Yes i got lucky he is a binki baby!
5. Loves his mommy and daddy. He knows us so well and i love it
6. He came out with his left hand right by his face and i swear it has not moved! It is so cute no matter what that is usually where his left hand is.

Chance loves his little boy. He is such a proud daddy and so protective over him. I just love it and it has made me fall even more in love with him all over again!

Chances family came after he was born. They fell in love with him!

Sheshe came the night before i got induced and stayed for a week. I absolutly loved it and i am so thankful she was here to get me through my first week as a new mommy! She was so helpful and gave me all the advice i needed! Plus she spoiled us and Blake very well! We love her and we will miss her so much! Blake will miss his sheshe kiss every morning and night. But soon enough she will be back!!!! And this time with the rest of the family!

First family picture! Yes horrible horrible picture of me but what do you expect I just pushed a baby out! Man was i a tired girl i could barley keep my eyes opened!

He was looking at me at that moment and it melted my heart and i started bawling all over again!

Proud daddy and his little man! Chance was all over him and still is! Chance did so well through the whole labor! He didn't get scared or anything! He is the best dad and husband i could ask for
