4th of July day of fun!

This fourth of July was so much fun! Blake is old enough to really get into what is going on and got really excited about it! We had a crazy busy day full of lots of fun! We saw the hot air balloons in the early morning, went to the parade after that, then the fireworks at night. Blake was a trooper the whole day! I, on the other hand, was not. I was more swollen than i have even been! But I dealt with it because Blake was having so much fun.
We got the the hot air balloons at 6:00am! Yep this little guy got woken up at 5:45am and was amazing all day! We were sitting right next to one of the balloons and when they started filling it up he got a little worried! Can you tell by his face?? We pack some dry cereal, grapes and milk for him!
HAHAHA can you tell they just woke up?
This was like half of the balloons
Loved this balloon it looked really cool in the air to!
My favorite flag! What an amazing way to represent America. I loved how the race started off with the pledge of allegiance. I got a little teary eyed
The balloons started getting filled and going up and this was his face for a good while. HAHA! He really loved when the fire would shoot up he would try to blow it out
I thought my mom would appreciate this balloon!
There we go now they look more awake! Those are two really handsome boys!
Oh yikes. Yep the only picture that will be posted of me and only because it is a little far away. Chances parents met us at the end and treated us to breakfast at Mcdonalds!
We finally got to the parade and of course Blake went straight to papa. I know he doesnt looked too thrilled in this picture but he was super excited
Yea my sister Macy took this picture. I guess Blake wouldnt look.
Look at these two cuties! This is Marelle(Ella as Blake calls her). They are cousins and are 6 weeks apart. I am not sure they have really learned to play with each other yet, but they both talk about each other all the time
The first fire truck almost made Blake poo his pants. He was standing in front by himself and it honked really loud and Blake came running back with the most concerned look on his face. Macy and her roommate joined all of us for the parade! Blake has finally taken a loving for Macy. Not sure why it took so long but better late than never :)
Such a cool float. all the heads moved and sang
The Madagascar float! Blake loved that one!!
ummmmmmm hahhahahaha this one is also for my mom!
My sister in law Jessicas mom painted all the kids faces. Blake wouldnt let her so she painted his hand. She is so nice and Blake loved it

This one is for my niece Brooklyn! The Rapunzel float!
Of course cosmo had to make an appearance
This is the coolest float! " Stand a little Taller"
This was the float that won the whole parade!
The missionaries make an appearance every year! Our favorite part of the parade!

After the parade we went home and took a nice long nap. We were exhausted. When we woke up my brother Reilly came over and we went shopping for some yummy treats for the night time and then we came back and watched a movie. Finally the time came and we got to got see the fireworks! Macy came along to. Every year we go to Fox field park and watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks. They started like an hour late so not till 10:30! I cant believe how amazing Blake was the whole day. He loved the fireworks. He thought they were so cool and pretty. But i think he liked the yummy treats he got to eat all night better!
