Mothers Day/ A sad goodbye

Mothers day was great this year!!! Chance let me sleep in until 8! The kids wake up at like 6:30 these days, so 8 felt nice. When i woke up Chance had made me Strawberry Cheesecake french toast.Oh my gosh it was so amazing and he made a lot of it up himself. Also some bacon to! I love that Chance loves to cook. He always makes up different marinades to cook our meat in and new ideas for me to make! He loves to Bake homemade stuff to. He is so great. Then i got to watch a Book of Mormon movie with my Blakers and then we all got ready for church. I love church on Mothers day! I love hearing the talks about mothers and the great role we play. Chance actually got the opportunity to speak in sacrament meeting all about mothers and having a Christ centered home. His talk was amazing. He is such a natural when it comes to public speaking. After church we went to Chances parents house for dinner. It was a great mothers day! I didnt get any gifts because we are trying really hard to save every penny before the move. But i am not sure that i really care about that. As long as my cute little family shows me a lot of love i am A OK! Plus Chance cleaned the whole house all day long which was really nice.

 I love being a mommy to Blake. He has such a  good heart. I love that he always tells me he loves me without me having to say it first. I love that he always wants to cuddle me and give me love. I love when he runs up to me gives me a hug and tells me i am his best friend:) I love that i get to tuck him in every night and pray and read the Book of Mormon with him. I love that i get to teach him the right ways and raise him to be the best Blake he can be!

 My brother Reilly took all  these pictures haha so beware they are a little off :) I love being a mommy to my little princess. I love that when she is sad she only wants her mommy. She needs me:) I love when she wakes up and sees me she gets very excited, then i pick her up and she hugs me and pats my back! I LOVE getting to dress her. She loves dresses and skirts. Whenever she has one on she cant stop playing with it.

 Oh yikes both these pics are terrible but its all i got! Chance also makes being a mommy great. He helps me. Some days i have just had it and he steps in and plays the mommy roll and gives me a break. That helps me so much and i am so grateful for that.

I love that i can take a lot of the qualities that my own mom has and put them to use in my own life. My mom is so great and has done so many great things. All of us have turned out so great thanks to her (and of course my dad to). She is a great friend, mom and example!


On to part two....... We had to say a really sad goodbye on Sunday. One of my best friends, Clarissa, moved to Arizona on Sunday. I was so sad to see her go. We hung out EVERY SINGLE DAY. Multiple times a day even. She has a little girl Blakes age (Elsie, his "girlfriend") and a little girl Bailees age. Its so perfect. We had so much fun with them every day. The great news is that we are moving less then 5 minutes from them in Arizona so goodbye is only for a short time:)

 Chance and Jeff get along great to. It seriously is perfect and is really hard to find a family that works into your like that.

We will miss them but we will see them in no time!!

Lots of fun!!

We have just been soaking up so much sun these past few days i am loving it!!! Here are a few things we have been doing!

 First off Chance has been on a huge Coyote hunting kick lately and he took my brother with him one night. No he has not shot any but maybe next time! Reilly was so excited to go though, he has never been hunting!

 Macy came for a short visit and it was fun! My kids love her so its really nice! We went shopping, ate at Tucanos, played at a trampoline place and just had fun. She is leaving for her mission June 12th so it was nice to spend a few days with her

 Not sure what this is all about but i love him. He is a little feisty right now but on the other hand he is also so loving a sweet right now so i will take it

 Blake loves this trampoline place. I love that i just let him go run and go crazy and i dont have to even really watch him. Plus he gets so exhausted he sleeps amazing for his naps! Macy thought it would be fun but ended up only doing a few things but it was fun to watch Blake!

 We went to this super fun castle park with my friend Cilka and i forgot my camera so we went the next day with another great friend and got some pics!! Blake liked the tire swing! And sweet Elsie in back was having fun to!

 I am so glad Blakes best friend is moving to Arizona about 5 minutes from us!

 Poor sweet Bailee has been teething so bad with no end in sight! I could just cry for her. So i decided to just give her a whole apple thinking it would maybe feel really good on her gums. She didnt really like the skin

These two cute girls are going to be best of friends to! Bailee is super crazy and busy and Camryn is so quiet and good and laid back so they will have to balance each other out!!

Trampoline fun!

Today we had our good friends over for breakfast and then took the kids to this trampoline place! They had so much fun!!

 Blake and Elsie are such great friends. Of course they fight like any other kids but they really care about each other. Blake always wants to play with Elsie and make sure she is ok.

 Oh this little boy is such a stinker but i still love him so much. Sometimes i think his testosterone gets the best of him and it is all down hill from there

 Me and Clarissa! We have become such great friends. We pretty much hang out every day, most of the time a couple times a day! The greatest part is they are moving to AZ as well and we are going to live like 5 minutes from each other. I hope we can stay friends because we have so much fun!

First off i want to give a little update about how Blake is doing. there was about a 2 month period where Blake was an absolute terror. I remember thinking that if this is how it was going to be for the next year or longer i dont think i would be able to deal with it. In stores and different places he was fine no melt downs or anything but at home or play dates it was a true mess. He was stealing toys from everyone, screaming and crying, hitting, pinching, not listening EVER, and not being nice to Bailee. I cried, a few times. It was the absolute worst at my sisters house. I cried so hard and just wanted him to go away. I remember feeling so bad that i felt such mean things about him, but i couldnt help myself. He was TERRIBLE. Of course every once in a while Heavenly Father would give me a tender mercy and remind me what a sweet boy i have so that helped a lot. Also, we became such good friends with a family in the ward. We hang out every day sometimes even a couple times a day. They have a little girl named Elsie who is around the same age as Blake. For the first couple weeks i am really surprised we were still hanging out because Blake was so terrible!!! Partly not his fault because he had no idea how to play with a girl. He never had, so things were a little rough.

Thankfully, the past few weeks have been so amazing. I have been reminded of how much i love my little boy and how sweet he is. He truly has a tender heart. He finally has snapped out of it. Of course every once in awhile he is naughty but for the most part he is back to his cute self. He barely ever goes to time out. It is like a dream. I can take him to the park all by myself and there are not any problems. He plays so nice with Elsie for the most part. He really cares for her. He asks people if they can share and doesnt freak out if someone steals something from him. I am so thankful he is out of that craziness. I am sure he will go through it again but this time i think i will be more prepared.

There is a story i want to record on my blog that i want to remember forever.
The other day Elsie was over playing with Blake. They were in the playroom and i hear Elsie start to cry. I peek my head in to see what is going on. Blake says, " Elsie i am sorry, are you ok?" Then he bends down, puts his hands on her head and gives her  a blessing, He mummbles some words then say, "Amen! Now you are all better Elsie!" Oh my gosh my heart melted and i wanted to tear up. He has such a  strong testimony for being so little. He always tells me that Heavenly Father keeps him safe and that when he is scared or hurting he can pray and Heavenly Father will make him better. He talks about how Heavenly Father has a body just like us, knows the Nephi Builds a ship story enough to where he can tell it to me. I love seeing the light of Christ in my own son. There is nothing better

Easter

Easter was a bit weird this year. We have been so consumed with getting everything in place to move we pretty much were not prepared. Luckily everything still turned out awesome! We had a lot of fun and a lot of parties! Plus Blake was so excited about the Easter bunny!

 I definitely forgot about dying Easter eggs so we did it Friday night :) Just plain lame die but it worked!

 Blake LOVED it! He is just like me and chance, when we are focused we stick our tongue out!

 Saturday morning we went to Chances families Easter party, then our condos Easter party and then our to chances other familes Easter party. It was so busy and so much fun!

 At the last party we did a huge scavenger hunt. It was so fun. They got all sorts of toys and fun things. The downside is we pretty much had to do a hike and i was in a dress and sandals

 Their Easter baskets! I have decided to do what my mom did and not do actual Easter baskets. My mom always did a them and it was always stuff the we actually needed and not just a ton of candy. Its such a perfect idea. How cute did this turn out?!

We found out kind of last minute that Chances family wasnt doing anything for Easter so we made a last minute dinner. Turkey, mashed potatoes, broccoli and chips and guac. We had fun

We were so crazy and had so much to do that we didnt really get to talk to Blake about the meaning of Easter. So we will do that for family home evening. It was so great having my brother and sister here. They made it is that much better
