Trip to Reno

We just got back from a super fun trip to Reno for spring break! We decided kind of last minute to go to Reno for spring break. My mom and dad were dying to see Blake and we didnt have anything else to do. Chance had a final on Tuesday night for his dance class so we left on Wednesday morning at 5AM!!! YUCK! leaving that early was actually not as bad as we thought it would be. Blake slept most of the way. He slept all the way to Elko! HAHA! Then he woke up and played for a little bit and ate some yummy yogurt and string cheese then he went back to sleep for another 2 hours. He is the best traveler! We got really lucky. We made it to Reno by noon which was awesome!

The whole trip there was a lot of fun! The only complaint i had was i wished my dad wasnt working so much, we didnt really get to spend a whole lot of time with him. But you better believe that my dad fell in love with Blake. They were making each other laugh every time they were together. My dad thinks Blake is really funny.

We got to spend a lot of time with my mom. She as well fell in love with Blake. She could not get enough of him! In fact i was starting to miss him because of course she wanted him all the time. I loved that. Blake in turn LOVED his Sheshe! HE seriously a lot of the time wouldnt even come to me because he just wanted to stay with her. I loved that as well. He loved her right off the bat. My mom never wanted to let him go! We spent a lot of time at my moms work when she was working. She has lots of treats and a balloon and a ball for Blake to have while we were there. Blake attracted quite a crowd when we were there. Man can he make people smile! We got to eat at a lot of yummy places, do A LOT of shopping and watch some fun movies. My mom bought Blake some cute outfits! I love spending time with my mom and seeing what a great grandma Sheshe she is with Blake. Chance and I both really wished they lived closer! One day!!

a couple mornings my mom came up at like 6am when Blake woke up and took him downstairs and played with him so we could get some more sleep! That was amazing thank you mom!!

Funny and sad story........ Blake loved this rocking dog! HE rocked himself! HAHAHA! I didnt know he was old enough to do that! He rocked himself so hard that he started to fall off so i tried to grab him and ended up scratching his face. I was so sad he was bleeding. So in some of the pics you can see his scab. So sadWe got to go to dinner at Outback with my grandmama and her husband Allen. We had a lot of fun. It was fun catching up with them.
So this picture and the next couple pics were at the airport. My best friend toris brother got home from his mission last friday. So we all got to go to the airport and welcome him home. He looked great and sounded so mature. It was so weird to see him so grown up! It sounds like he had a lot of spiritual amazing experiences. We are proud of him for being so diligent in serving a mission!
That is Kevin! He is not normally that tan! HAHAHA! We were all like WOW he is so dark! He served his mission in Guam so that explains it!

Here he is when he got off the plane! I started crying because i miss my brother so much! It is really hard watching all these missionarys come home and i dont get to have my brother home. But i am so glad he is serving a mission!

2 Years down......... Eternity to go!

Chance and i got to celebrate our 2nd anniversary on Saturday. I cant believe it really has been 2 years. That was the quickest 2 years of my life. I have to say i feel pretty lucky. I really do have the best marriage. Sure we have our fights and sometimes feel like we are just too opposite, but for the most part things really couldnt get better. Chance is the best husband. He is so in tune with all my needs and makes sure everyday that i am all taken care of. He is so selfless. He always puts my needs before his and most importantly he puts Heavenly Father above anything else. Chance really can brighten anyones days. Even people he doesnt know very well. Chance is very funny. He says the most random things and does the most random stuff. Even my brother Reilly, who is on a mission, constantly asks me to email him stories about the random weird crazy funny things chance has done lately. I love it. He makes us so happy. He is also the best dad. Blake seriously is so attached to his daddy. Chance can get Blake laughing so hard i love it! He also loves his tender moments with Blake like when he can sing to him and rock him to sleep, or when he gets to spend one on one time with him. We have such a great relationship and i just am so excited for what i have to look forward to in the future. Heavenly Father has blessed us so much!

I love you Chance! Thank you so much for making me the happiest i have ever been. You truly are and amazing person.

We went to a yummy dinner at carrabas that night and ran errands all day long! We are going to reno this week and are really going to celebrate when we get there. I got Chance a sweet suit and he got me 2 really cute pair of jeans from buckle!

Almost there!!

Recently Blake has been getting a lot of tummy time because i want him to crawl on his hands and knees soooooo bad! He is almost there! He is so close. It actually sometimes becomes so frustrating that i just have to sit him on his bum and i need to take a break! HAHA shouldnt it be the other way around??? Blake loves being able to crawl but sometimes he even gets so frustrated that he cant go faster, so he will just start crying. Of course i leave him there for just a little bit to see if he will just suck it up and go but my cute little man just always has to do things on his own time. I think i really really love that about him. Hopefully he will be a leader when he is older! He also has 2 teeth and i finally got a picture of them! I know what a miracle! Blake has been really sick lately with ear infections and congestion, so after i give him all his meds he is one happy boy! Thats how i got the picture.

It doesnt matter how sick he is this little boy is still so happy. Except at night when he wakes up 100 times! How do you like that yummy drool! Gross! Worst part about teething!
This is his favorite ball. He goes crazy when he sees it. And the walker sitting next him, he actually uses. I will video that another day it is pretty cute.
There they are! Yep they are sharp and hurt really bad when he bites you!

So it has been brought to my attention that my blog has not been updated in a really long time! So here i am! It has been so crazy lately! We moved out of one place and then was told the next day we had to move out of that place and we had a month to find another place!!! Well tomorrow is the last day we are able to live in this place and dont really have anywhere else lined up!! So needless to say i have not really had a whole lot of time! But we have had alot of things going on that i know i need to update about! So this will be a long post but well worth it!!!

First off Valentines day was great!!! We have so many holidays and birthdays coming up that we felt we could do something small for Valentines day! So i woke up in the morning and Chance had beautiful flowers for me and some yummy chocolate strawberries!!! Chance had to go to school so i took Blake and got Macy some cookies and flowers and dropped them off to her at her dorm! Then Chance got home and we dropped Blake off with my friend Nicole and we went to dinner at Rodizio Grill. It was super yummy!! It was the perfect day!! For Blake for Valentines day we got him a bag of balloons and blew them up and let him go crazy!!
O boy did he love his present!! He still has 2 balloons left and plays with then everyday!

We took Blake to the park the otherday because it was a beautiful day and he loved the swings!!! He just relaxed and loved it!!

Pretty cute!!Chance and i have been so stressed lately and we just felt that we needed a night out! The thing that makes us the most happy is seeing Blake smile and have fun! So we decided to take him to a place called Pirate Island. It is like a Chucke Cheese but all Pirate! A man Blake had so much fun! Here are some pictures!This was right before we left! Skee Ball was his favorite! Of course he loves balls. It is so cute. I kept rolling them and he would try to get them and get all excited about it! It was pretty cute.
These were the prizes we got Blake with our tickets! Trust me i wasnt too excited about all the candy bu that was all they had!So this is random...... Chance brought out one of his shirts that he wore when......... lets just say......... he was a lot bigger! HAHAHA!!! Blake fit inside the shirt no problem!


He has really been in a stage where he thinks everything is funny! I love this stage! He is so funny! He smiles at everyone and when they smile back he thinks it is funny! in my family we joke about Blakes PERMA smile! It is so funny he stares at people forever with a hug smile on his face! I just love it!!

Teeth

Just about 8 and 1/2 months and Blake has teeth!!!! Yep not 1 tooth but 2 teeth!!! YAY!!! All that being sick and grumpy finally paid off!!! He got his 2 front bottom teeth! It is so cute! He is always moving his tongue over them trying to feel them! This is a little bitter sweet. I love how cute he is but when they really start to show he is going to look so much bigger! Man he is just getting so big so faster it is making me a little sad! Almost making me want another one here soon! haha just kidding mom, Lindsay and Macy no need to call me freaking out! HAHA! Blake is also loving pulling himself up. Whenever i go to sit b y him. He grabs my arms an pulls himself up. Its pretty cute! He wont let me take a picture of his teeth but hopefully soon i will get to!!! Here are just some random pictures of the past couple days.

On a side note............ We finally moved into our new place and then the day after our landlord comes down and tells us that his wife never wanted to rent out the basement and she feels like her privacy is lost so we have to find yet another new place to live!!!! AAAAHHHHHH!!!!! I cant stand moving! O well i guess there is something better waiting for us! He gave us this month free so with the money we saved we are going to buy food storage! Pretty excited!

For a very long time now Blake has been obsessed with mirrors and now he as found that he can use the TV as a mirror and he is really excited about it!

Chance thought this was really funny! I did to! Blake just goes up and down and all around! He thinks its fun!
I dont know what it is about his highchair but he loves being in it!
When we moved in i sat him in this box with toys and he played for over an hour!
So in my old ward i went over to this ladies house and she had this built for her granddaughters! Is that not the cutest thing! I have to have it in my house for my daughters!
O man we definitely have an athlete on our hands! And sports ball he finds he goes crazy over!

We have a dancer!!!

Blake has come up with the cutest little dance. He puts his whole body into it. He did it for the first time to the opening song from the show the Office! Now he does it whenever we dance! Its pretty cute!! Here is a video! Also i have never recorded his laugh but it is pretty cute so i thought i would add that one in to!!


He also has been doing that cute little yell or whatever it is it is pretty funny!


I love that he gurggles! HAHAHAHA!

8 months!!!!

Can you even believe that i have an 8 month old?! Man time flys! I keep freaking out because in a couple months my cute little man will be 1 year old! He is growing so fast and his personality is really starting to show. I just wanted to update a list of things Blake has been doing the last month!
1. Blake army crawls. He has gotten so fast! for a while he would just crawl one sided it was hilarious!
2. He can pull himself up halfway! It is pretty funny because he makes all sorts of crazy noises when he does it! He pretty much just pulls himself up to his knees.
3. Blake is a very determined little boy. If he wants something he will do anything to get it.
4. Blake belly flops! HAHA! It is so funny. If he is sitting down and wants something that is far away, he puts one leg behind him and belly flops onto the floor and starts crawling. It is so funny. And when he hits the ground he goes UH! It is so cute.
5. Blake has gotten extremely attached to his daddy. Seriously he wants nothing to do with me when his dad is around. They have such a cute relationship. I cant wait till he gets older and they get to be best buds. Hopefully i will have a girl by then!
6. Blake sits by himself in the tub and screams when i get him out. He like to put his face under the running faucet. What a silly boy. He has no fear of water! I love it
7. Blake is still not sleeping through the night. I have no problem just letting him cry but my landlords upstairs can hear him so i cant let him cry for too long. So in our new place it will be a different story!
8. Blake has become a little more cuddly. Just the past couple days I will be sitting on the floor with him and he reaches over and practically crawls on my lap. So i have him sit with me and he just sits with me and plays with his toys. That makes me feel so good.
9 In the mornings Blake and i get up around 9:00 9:30 and we come out on the couch and share a blanket and watch 1 or 2 episodes of mickey mouse club house. He seriously loves this show! At the end when they do the hot dog dance Blake gets all excited and he gets a big smile and moves around like crazy!
10. Blake has a very strong opinion about everything. He yells at us all the time. So cute right now but i think i am in trouble in the future!
11. Also if Blake is playing with a toy and you take it away he crys. This is new! I am not sure what to think about this. All of you that know Blake he has like the saddest cry you have ever heard and his face gets really sad so when you take a toy away he gets all dramatic. It is so sad and funny all at the same time!
12. Blake eats anything but veggies! He loves everything else and if he even sees you eating anything he goes crazy and wont stop till you give him some. He eats whole crackers by himself. It is seriously crazy!
13. Blake loves other babies. When he sees another one he is clued to them until he cant see them anymore!
14. For the most part Blake is really good at sitting by himself for long periods of time playing with his toys. This is so nice because i can get a lot done.
15. Lastly Blake still has a very sweet spirit. I get that comment all the time. Strangers hold him and say they just love him. When he was younger and people said that i thought it was just because all newborns have sweet spirits but he is older now and we still get that all the time. I love it. I feel he is just the sweetest little boy. He makes me laugh so much and he makes me feel so lucky to be his mommy!

I dont know if i have ever mentioned this but he loves mirrors. When him and i sit on the floor around the mirror he will not look at me unless it is in the mirror! He will like lean over and almost fall down in order to see me in the mirror
