FRIENDS FOREVER!!

Jessica is my best girl friend in the whole world and we have not seen a whole lot of eachother since Chance and i got married. Either I was busy or she had work or school, so it was just super hard to get together. But we finally did and i was so excited!!!! Jessica had the idea to go up the canyon and cook dinner and make smores. Jessica is getting pretty serious with her boyfriend and we are pretty excited for her! We went up Provo Canyon and had tons of fun!!! Chance and i had recently bought tons of meat but it was all about to expire so we decided to cook all of it! We had steak, chicken, pork chops and hamburgers! There was so much meat! After dinner we had smores and then played a couple rounds of Croquet(dont know how to spell that). It was so much fun we Love Jessica and Jay! Here are some pictures!


































I miss Jess like crazy! Everytime we are together we have such a blast! We are so comfortable around eachother and know everything about eachother that we just have so much fun! I cantwait for her to get married so we can have fun married couples night!














We tryed about a million times to get a picture of all four of us but this is the best we could get. We all forgot our cameras so all these were taken by Jessicas Iphone. But there is Jay!!!!



















I was trying to not get my hands too dirty with marshmellow and so i was trying to stuff the whole thing in my mouth and this was the outcome!!!! I got even more dirty than i would have eating it the normal way.



















We forgot wood for the fire so we had to roast marshmellows over coals!!! It took soooooo long! But well worth the wait!

I AM GETTING A LITTLE NERVOUS!!!

Ok so i am starting to get really nervous about Chance leaving for the summer to go fight fires. When we first got married and we talked about him leaving for fire season i wasnt really bothered by it, i was like o it is one summer we can do it! But now that it is getting closer i realy really really dont want him to leave!!! First off i am going to be so worried about him the whole time! He wont have cell phone reception so i wont get to talk to him a whole lot. Next for the whole summer he will be gone for 2 weeks and home for 2 days and then back out, so it just goes in a big cycle! O my goodnes what am i going to do all summer by myself?!!!!! ANY SUGGESTIONS?????? lastly Reilly is going with him so now it is going to be double worry! Chance has been training for 2 weeks now and he did a field burn yesterday and video taped some of it so here it is!!!

BABY WESTON!!!! (AKA Buddy the Elf)

Well the little one is finally here!!!!!! And let me just say he is the sweetest little boy ever!!! You just look at him and you know he is going to be just this sweet spirit! So this weekend Me, Chance and Reilly decided to surprise the whole family and go down for the weekend!!!!! We got the Friday night and left Sunday afternoon. My mom was so excited and said that was the best mothers day present ever!!! We love you Mom you are the best mommy ever!!!! DINNER!

OK i know i blogged about 2 hours ago but i just have to brag about the dinner i made!!! HAHAHAHA!

Tonight i decided to make a really yummy dinner! Chance and i both love chicken so i know i can never go wrong with chicken. So tonight i made a southwestern chicken. I marinated 2 chicken breasts in a yummy southwestern marinade for about 3 hours. Then i started cooking it and during that i made my really yummy homemade mashed potatos!!! Then i decided to use the amazing gift that Terri Bouland got me and i steamed some broccoli! Let me just tell you....... the steamer that Terri got me is amazing. Its like this Bamboo steamer that has a couple levels. First you take one of those large skillets and boil about 1 cup to 2 cups of water and then you just stick the whole steamer in it and it has a top so you just stick it on and let it steam for 5 minutes. The broccoli was so tender and yummy i will never make it any other way! Then i squeezed some lemon on top and sprinkled a little lemon pepper!!!!!!1 O my goodness it was so amazing!!!

So we had southwestern chicken with homemade mashed potato's and steamed broccoli with a hint of lemon!!!

Chance loved it!!! He really really did! I was so excited!!! I make dinner for him every night ranging from like homemade chicken Alfredo to pasta to butter and garlic noodles with chicken(yes again we love chicken), but this was i think by far his favorite! I love to cook, i always have but when you only have yourself to cook for it doesn't happen very often! And i hate cleaning up after it so Chance usually follows behind me and cleans while i cook and then we both finish cleaning after! What a great husband i have!!!

Still have not found the problem!

Ok i have been trying and trying to figure out what is wrong with my blog!!! When i upload pictures i just get a bunch of HTML. I mean it will still pot the pictures but i cant rearrange them!!! AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! Anyway here is a little update!

EASTER!!!!!!!!

Chance and i had such a great first holiday together! We woke up on Sunday and traded baskets!!! We put a spending limit on Easter because, well, when you first get married you are still trying to figure out finances and everything so i didnt really know where we stood!!! So anyway Chance got me a basket with the movie "Honey" and 2 Garth Brooks CDs and then a whole bunch of candy! I got him some slippers ( i will explain) and an oil vile with some oil to put on his key chain and then a whole butt load of candy and fruit snacks (his favorite). Now the slippers......... Our house is so super cute but seriously freezing. We do not have control of the temperature, the upstairs does. Well our whole house is pretty much tile so when we walk around our feet freeze! Well i have a million pairs of slippers but they are all pink and girlie so when chance borrows them i just start laughing!!!! So i thought i would get him his very own pair of really nice brown ones!!! HAHAHA

Well after that we made pancakes and got ready and went to church! Our new ward is really cool and i have already made a couple of really fun friends! After church we got ready and went to Grandma and Grandpa Wrides house for a wonderful evening! The whole Wride family was there with all the little kids! There were a lot of grand children there and so i was in heaven. Chances Aunt Nicole just had a baby and named him Foster. I held him for so long and got him to go to sleep! O i just loved it! After Chance held him he bugged me the rest of the night telling me he really wants a baby!!! I was like HECK NO!!!! Are you kidding?!!! Good thing i am the one that controls that! Me, Chance and Little 3 year old Dawson went an hid about 100 eggs for all the kids!!!! It was so fun to watch them all. Since Dawson helped us hide them all, he ended up with a bucket full of eggs! I cant believe he remembered where they all were!! What a smart kid! O my goodness he really is the cutest kid to! We had a super yummy dinner and dessert too! Then the night concluded with Chance and i coming home and playing our usual game of Monopoly! Chance kicks my butt every time, i am a little confused! So all in all it was a great day!

We were really sad we couldn't be with my family! It was weird to not be with them this year! But Chances family is so great so we it was ok! But i love my family and we will be there with you for Thanksgiving!!! WAHOO!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!

Welcome to our new blog!!!! I have to say, things just keep getting more and more exciting! Chance and i have now been married for 3 weeks!!!! I cant even believe it! Time really does fly when you are so in love. Sorry it took so long for me to do a new blog, but as you can imagine we have been pretty busy. So this is going to be a long blog so bare with me.

Here is a little update about our wedding and post wedding!

Our wedding day was absolutely amazing!!!! The weather was gorgeous and and the temple grounds we just amazing. We got married at the Oakland temple and seriously would not have had it any other way. We are so excited that we get to call the temple our temple now! As a lot of you know, we had quite the rough time leading up to our wedding. But we can proudly say that we made it!!!!!!! Everything we went through was so worth it! I never dreamed that my wedding day could be that perfect but it truly was.

Something kind of funny that happened, A group of us stayed the night in a hotel in Oakland the night before the wedding and and morning of the wedding i was in the bathroom about to take a shower and the big saucer light fixture decided to fall right on my head and then shatter on the ground!!!! Seriously it didn't phase me at all i was so nervous that i just got in the shower and actually heard everyone else freak out. Next thing i know Jenny Clark (the wonderful person she is) went down and complained and got us 5 free night at the St. Francis in San Francisco for our honeymoon! That was so fantastic!!!! Thank you Jenny!!!

After the wonderful wedding we went and had our luncheon at the H.S. Lordship. It was beautiful, it was right on the water. I was so awesome and everyone's toasts were amazing! My brother Reilly almost started crying and then i almost started crying!After that Chance and i headed to our hotel room in San Fransisco at the St. Regis. The most beautiful hotel i have ever seen THANK YOU JENNY!!! The next day Chance and i drove back to Reno for our reception. The reception was gorgeous, my mom really did an amazing job. Everything was so perfect. Thank you MOMMY!!! After that we went on our honeymoon to San Fransisco and had a blast! We went to Pier 39, Fishermans wharf, Alcatraz, Took a ferry under the Golden Gate and went to a Broadway play called Beach Blanket Babylon. We had so much fun and it was really nice to finally just get away and focus on each other. Then after that we came back to Reno and Drove with my family back to Utah for our second Reception. Chances parents and grandparents put on a lovely reception. It was so much fun and so perfect! It was really fun to get back and see all of our friends here. THANK YOU NAN, CORY, BLAKE and KATHY! Then finally we got to relax in our new cute home and start putting everything together!

We got a million fantastic presents. We now have a complete kitchen. We have everything we need in the kitchen! I love it because i love to cook so it has been really nice to have everything i need! We also we blessed by Chances Dad Larry. He gave us a brand new bed, an entertainment center, a washing machine and a carpet cleaner! We were so shocked! We bought ourselves a dryer! We also got a lot of really cute decorations, that my mom and i had so much fun putting up. We also got a ton of gift cards so we were able to get stuff like bedding and bathroom stuff, plus a million other things. We were also very blessed to get a very large amount on a gift card to Smiths. We were able to get all of our essentials and fill up our pantry and fridge and freezer, and we still have some money left on it. We definitely have felt very loved and blessed. Thank you everyone!!!
