Happy Birthday Blake!

My sweet little boy turned 1. It is so bitter sweet! I miss my little baby but i absolutely love the little 1 year old he is! He is so much fun! He has become the sweetest, funniest, cutest boy ever. He has so much personality i love it. Blake brings so much joy and sweetness into our home i couldnt be more grateful. Blake has a certain spirit about him that makes people drawn to him. We often get stopped at the store and told that Blake has a unique sweetness about him. We also get a lot that he has an old soul, very wise and smart. Random strangers always tell me that they feel attached to him and they cant help but love him. He is a very special boy and i know he has such a huge future ahead of him. He is the pride and joy of my life. Here are a couple things he is doing right now and also more things i love about him.

- Blake started walking! He takes like 10 steps at a time. He doesnt walk around by any means but he will walk to things if stand him up
- Blake loves to give everyone hugs. I think it is his new favorite thing. Not just people..... Blankets, pillows, the ground........ He gets so proud of himself.
- He eats most anything and everything. very good eater
- He no longer has formula he is strictly on milk.
- When Blake gets excited now he crinkles his nose and gives you a really big smile! My dad says he gets this smile from my grandma great. That makes me feel really good because i really miss her and now i can think of her when Blake smiles.
- Blake POINTS at EVERYTHING!!!! I love this because he can show me exactly what he wants or who he wants. Plus he always smiles big when he does it.
- I love that Blake loves to be outside. He loves everything about the outdoors. I think he is definitely going to be an explorer.
- Blake loves kids of all ages. He wants to play with them so bad. He follows them around and looks at me and points to whatever they are doing. He cant help himself. He also really loves babies. He always gives them hugs and kisses.
- Blake is still very much into music. He dances whenever music is on and he watched all of American Idol with me. I love this quality. I hope this means he will have really good rhythm and musical talents.
- For the most part Blake is very easy going and loves everyone. He is very good at entertaining himself.
- I can take Blake anywhere for as long as i want. He is so good he shops for hours with me and doesnt ever fuss. He just looks around and is content.

These are all the treats i made for the party! He loves all sports balls so i thought that was a perfect theme for his birthday party! Those lollipops are called cake pops! Took a really long time to make but i think they turned out really cute!!!

Short but Sweet

My sisters and brother in law and my niece and nephew were driving through Utah to get to Reno and got to stay with us for a night! We were pretty excited! I think Blake was more excited than anyone. Blake seriously loved Weston! Of course he loved Brooklyn too but Weston is more his age! It was really fun to see the kids play together. Brooklyn was the mom and really tried to take care of Blake and Weston was the older brother teasing Blake and tickling him but not wanting him around all the time and Blake was the annoying little brother that wouldnt leave Weston alone! HAHAHA it was sooooo cute! It was sooo good to see Lindsay and Wade as well. We didnt get a whole lot of time but at least i got to see them. Blake was really sad when he woke up and Weston wasnt there. He was searching the whole house for him and then coming up to me and fussing and wanting me to follow him. I am so sad that we all dont live close!

Blake has now gotten really really into taking everything out of the cupboards and this is always his guilty face when i find him! I dont care though it keeps him busy for a little bit! Blake took 10 steps about 1 week ago and has been stubborn ever since. He will walk like 10 steps and then realize it and sit down! Like he is trying to prove a point or something!What a butt!

We really have no use for this anymore he starts going so fast that he just trips the whole way! He just needs to walk already!!

My heart is full!

My heart has been soooo full the past couple days. Let me explain.................. For a very very very long time now, Blake has really been attached to his dad. So much to the point where he would cry if Chance gave him to me, cry when he left, run away from me to his dad ect. I was fine with it for a while but then i seriously started to get really sad about it. Blake, along with chance, is my everything and i started to take it personal. Everyone was telling me that it was just a phase but the phase was ongoing for like 6 months. Then all of the sudden a couple days ago Blake started giving me so much love. He has been giving me big hugs and pats me on the back, he gets excited to see me, if i am sitting on the couch he comes up to me and takes my hand and puts it on his face and just lays there, when i sit back up he reaches out for me to hold him and then just lays his face against my face, And every time he wakes up he wants to sit in my lap with a blanket and just lay with me for a little bit and watch one of his shows.

I have to say i am in heaven. Blake means so much to me and i am so thankful he is finally showing me how much he loves me. He is getting so big. He likes to play chase, pull all the clothes off the couch until i start to come near him then he laughs and pulls everything off faster, he turns the radio on in my bedroom, he knows what songs he likes and he no longer has formula. His first birthday is coming up and we are stoked!!!

Chance still does this to poor Blake and now Blake HATES it! Can you tell??The other day we went on a walk with my friend and all the sudden i look down adn blake is conked out. He must have been soooo tired.
We helped my sister Macy move out of her dorm and Blake was causing a ruckus so we put him in here with toys and that kept him content for like 30 min. haha

Reno

We just got back from an 11 day trip to Reno. We had soooooo much fun! My dad was off work most of the time so he went everywhere with us. It was so fun getting to spend that much time with my dad. Not to mention Chance and my dad got to hang out a lot this time as well. Every morning they woke up took my mom to work and went to the gym for 2 hours. They golfed, played basketball and worked out. Then they came home and made one of my dads famous shakes! That was the schedule every morning for them. Chance loved it. I love how much he loves and gets along with my dad. They also played basketball in my dads office with the little plastic hoop that hangs on the door. For mothers day chance and my dad got em and my mom 1 hour massages! So my mom and i took a day to ourselves and went to the movies and lunch and then got our massages! We even were in the same room. It was really nice to spend a day with just me and my mom. Thanks mom for the fun day! We also did lots of shopping, went to the pool, had bbq's, went to the Reno river rest, visited my mom a lot at work, and i got to go to lunch with one of my old friends Chareese. We were jam packed with plans! We even got to talk to my brother Reilly who is on a mission! It was a great vacation!

On kind of a sad not...................... on mothers day at about 12:30 am i started having horrible abdominal pains! I was doubled over and was actually scared. So i asked my dad and chance for a blessing. After the blessing we all felt that i should go to the ER. So we rushed to the ER where they gave me morphine and ran a million tests. At that point i was shaking so bad from the pain i didnt care what happened. Needless to say, we found out that i had 2 cysts on my ovaries and one of them had burst! Yea pretty painful! So after 5 hours in the ER i went home with some pain meds. Sad thing is that i have one more that has to burst! YIKES!!
So Blake is doing this thing where he bounces up and down and makes this exciting face!! HAHAHA I love it!

We found this super cute rash guard at old navy so since my brother loves batman we took lots of pics to send to himSheShe loves Blake and Blake LOVES SheShe! Normally Blake doesnt do very well with women but he went to my mom right away. He loves her lots
ummmmmm.............. yea................ thats how i had to be brought in to the ER. I couldnt even stand!
This is my moms sister Kim and her husband Bruce. They live in Elko but were in Reno for some of Bruces doctor visits. We were so glad we got to see them!

Ok serioulsy Blake loves my dad! My dad played a lot with Blake and they got quite close.
This is my grandmas husband Allen. Blake would not go to anyone else but Allen. It was so funny, he even pushed Chance aside( which never happens). Blake just layed on his chest for a long time. It was so cute!
We got to go to the pool and SheShe had a lot of fun with Blake in the water. Blkae likes to get dunked under water its pretty cute.

We went to the Reno River Fest and had a fun time. This is our new stroller but Blake doesnt like to be in it. He thinks he can just walk! Man i wish!

We found out that Blake LOVES tortellini. He ate 20 in one sitting! And this is what he looked like after. I think he pretty much enjoyed himself!

So we have been in Reno for 5 days and have had a lot of fun! We have done lots of shopping, spent time with family, eaten yummy food, gone to the movies and the park! Its really nice this time because my dad has been home a lot! We have even gotten to play board games. Blake has been having so much fun with his SheShe and crampa! He has also developed a new crawl. Let me tell you it is hilarious! I have a video of it!
Blake loves the park. We took him down all the slides a couple times he had fun.The swings are by far his favorite! I think he could be in the swings all day and be totally fine!
