4 Months!

Blake is 4 months old now! WOW! That went by so fast! I cant believe we have a 4 month old! Blake is getting cuter and cuter everyday!

What Blake is doing now:

1. Blake is laughing a lot! It is probably my favorite time of the day when i get him to laugh really hard!
2. Blake started eating rice cereal and baby food yesterday! He love love loves it! He totally knew exactly how to eat from a spoon! I got to have Lindsay on skype so she could see it for the first time!
3. Blake is 15 pounds and 24 inches long! He is in the 50% for weight and 17% for height! So basically he is still short and fat! HAHA I love it!
4. Blake loves to sit in his Bumbo! He sits up super straight and feels like such a big boy
5. Blake cant roll over quite yet but he is trying! His brace kind of gets in the way
6. Blake is probably the biggest fan of bath time! He now splashes and kicks so much that the floor gets all wet and so do i. The best part is that his face gets so intense when he is in there. He means business!!!
7. Blake has a screech sometimes when he starts to cry. Its funny because he has done it ever since he was born. My mom would always call him a dinosaur!!!
8. Blake loves to smile! he thinks everything is funny! He smiles at everyone around!
9. Blake loves to play on his play mat! he is very observant! He looks around and stares at everything!
10. Blake has grown completely out of 0-3 months and is in 3-6 months! And i have nothing so it is time to do some shopping!

He thinks i am so funny! I love it! For the very first time, on Sunday Blake was really upset and the only thing that would calm him down was to be with his mommy! I felt so good! Of course i dont want that to be a trend but it felt so good that he knew who his mommy was. I loved it!

We got to go to yet another BYU game! We love going but i have to say it is a lot different with a baby!!! Blake does really well except when the crowd doesnt stop screaming he gets a little freaked out!!!! Here are some pictures we took before and during the game!

Macy went to lunch with us before the game and then we got to see her at the game! We love getting to see her and i love that Blake has some of my family here!

My Love

First i want to say sorry for all the mushy gushy stuff i am going to write but i cant help it!

I thought i would change it up a little bit about Chance. I want to start off by saying i am one lucky girl and Blake is one lucky little boy!

Chance is such an amazing husband! I know i have said it again and again and again but honestly sometimes i feel like i just need to express how lucky i feel. Chance works so hard at school and work. When he is put in a bad situation he trys to make the best of it. no matter what he sticks it out and trys his hardest to be an example. Chances testimony and knowledge of the gospel is so amazing! I love to read scriptures with him at night because he can always answer my questions. Chance always lets me know that i am the only girl in his life and he makes me feel so special. The other day Chance brought me flowers home! My favorite! Lilies! He always calls me just to tell me i am beautiful and that he loves me. I think chance is the best of both worlds, he has a very sensitive side like he crys when i cry and he sometimes gets teary eyed when he misses Blake doing something for the first time but he is also a manly man HAHAHA! He works construction, plays all sports, all about the gym and can fix anything! He is my dream come true!

Chance is also an amazing dad! Chance loves to spend time with Blake and always looks over at me and says, " O my gosh Winter he is so dang cute!" Blake loves his Daddy to! Whenever Chance is around Blake just stares at him! It is so cute! The other day Chance called me and said, " Would it be ok if i took care of Blake tonight? I just dont get to see him very much so i want to take care of him tonight!" Of course i was like BE MY GUEST!!!! Chance changes a lot of diapers and doesnt mind it at all! Chance also knows how to calm Blake down and even gets him to laugh after! Although Chance has still not figured out the you cant through him up in the air and shake him right after he eats! HAHAHA! Blakes has peed all down Chances shirt multiple times and all he does is laugh about it! He is such a great dad!

Chance we love you!!! Thank you for being so awesome and loving Blake and I as much as you do!

Yea we both dont look good but we couldnt get a good one! But i wanted a picture of him in this outfit because i think he looks like such a big boy in it!!!

Bath Time makes me feel better!!!!!

Poor little Blake is still sick! He constantly wakes up screaming because he gets scared because he cant breathe out his nose!!! I feel so so bad because then i have to use the saline drops and suck it all out and he gets so upset! It makes me so sad! I just wish he would start feeling better! It is still summer time and he has a cold i cant even think about what it is going to be like in the Winter time! Well my awesome cousin Megan gave me some vapor rub baby bath bubbles for my baby shower! So we gave him a bath tonight with it and he feels so much better! It actually works! he was so happy and can breathe again!!!! So here are a few pictures from bath time!!!!

I tried to capture his pretty blue eyes when they are all wet but my camera is just not that good! But still so cute! Also i love how fun he is getting! Every time i put the cup up to his body to pour water he kept trying to grab the cup and play with it! It was pretty cute!
He actually loved the bubbles and in the beginning was just staring at them and didnt really know what to think!

Sad to say Blake has been a little sick lately! I feel so so bad for him. We cant tell if he has ear infections or a cold or teething but we are taking him into the doctor tomorrow to figure it out! But the good news is that Blake is doing so good besides that! Blake is doing so much better at tummy time now!!! He doesnt mind it at all! He can now lift his head up so he really sometimes likes it! Also my friend Nicole let us borrow her Bumbo! Blake loves to sit in it! And he sits really well in it! One of my favorite things that he has started doing is no matter where we are if someone looks at him he gives them a huge smile! O i love love love it!

He is getting so good at this! It has been a little bit harder for him because of his brace so we are super proud!
AWWWW tired boy! He loves to cluch his blanket and have his binki in! I had another blanket to be his blankie but Blake is such a hot baby that i have to keep him in a diaper and wrap him in a receiving blanket to stop him from sweating when he sleeps! So now his blankies are his receiving blankets.

Labor day weekend!!!

We had a fun labor day weekend! And the best part is that Chance had Monday off paid!!! Nothing like getting paid for not being at work!

Our weekend started off on Saturday at the BYU football game!!!! I was nervous to take Blake because he had heat rash for a couple days and it was in the 90s outside! But we took him anyway and he did soooooo good! It got really hot so we stood right at the portal in the shade and got to watch the game there! Blake slept a lot and just was a fun baby while we were there. But then towards the end of the game our section of seats were shaded so we went back up. Blake was almost asleep when BYU got another touch down and the crowd went wild! Blake got the poo scared out of him and he freaked out! I felt so bad! I should have been covering his ears but i was distracted! We finally calmed him down and then its like he kept reliving the experience and crying! Poor little dude! But the game was still amazing! BYU won and Blake, for the most part, had a really good time at his first BYU game!!! Chances Mom got Blake the cutest little BYU outfit and he looked adorable!

We were excited because it was my sister macys first BYU game!!! Now that she goes to BYU she is going to have so much fun at these games! We got to see Macy and hang out with her for a little bit! She got to see and hold my little man!! Thanks Macy for making it a point to come see us and hangout for a little bit!

Then on Sunday we had Chances brother and sister in law and their kids came over for dinner! We had so much fun! We ate a yummy dinner and played games! It was so fun to hang out with family and have our babies try to get to know each other!!! Then on Monday we woke up at noon!!!!! We obviously needed the sleep!!! Then for pretty much the rest of the day we did Chances homework and watched the boise state vs virginia tech football game! So it was a really good weekend and we loved Chance being home!!! Blake is so attached to Chance he like doesnt take his eyes off of him ever!!!Macy and Blake! He was pretty hot so he was little sad! Macy thinks he doesnt like her but he loves her!!!

Mommy Came!

So this post is a little delayed but my mom was here 2 weeks ago dropping Macy off at BYU. We had a lot of fun with her! She had so much fun playing with Blake. I love that she loves to come and see Blake it means so much to us! We wish she lived here we know she would be here all the time playing with Blake and Blake would love it! Blake really did take a strong liking to my mom! Whenever she would talk to him he would talk back and smile. It was pretty cute! I love having her here helping! We had a lot of fun getting Macy all ready for college! We ate lots of yummy food, shopped a lot and she even got to hear me sing at church that Sunday! All in all we had so much fun and we miss her like crazy! Chance even said to me after she left that he was going to miss her! SO CUTE!!! We love you mom! Thanks for making us feel so special!
